The captain appeared sudddenly appeared and nodded, "Hullo, my most unusual pair of seamen." He nodded at a boat at the end of the docks. "That there is the Belle."
"You will be on this ship until we return. You will both be the lowest of the ow on my ship. You will mop our floors and serve our food, and if you are good at it, maybe you will get promoted, now get to the ship, we are about to leave."

Kearen smiled and looked at Dire.
"This is gonna be fun." She said. She walked onto the ship enjoying the ship's deck.

The captain growled, "Both of you start mopping and scrubbing out the ship's storeroom, now get out of my sight." He handed Dire a mop and "Jay" and bucket of soapy water.

Kearen walked off to the store room. She smiled at Dire and started mopping
"your gonna need to learn how to walk one we get out there in the ocean."

"Something tells me that i'll get to learn very soon." he said as he heard orders being shouted above deck. There was a lurch and the ship started moving. Dire grimaced at Kearen, then fell flat on his face.

((Is this where Nate goes or not? I'll just edit this if it isn't. X( )) Nate arrived just as the ship was leaving. He dove into the water, swimming as fast as he could, and finally closing the small distance between the dock and the ship. When a startled sailor opened his mouth to yell at him as he heaved himself off the deck, he wordlessly offered him a handful of coins, which at least settled that problem. This beats studying. Grandpa should understand. He used a spell to dry himself to a remotely comfortable level. ((All right, Lan, I fixed it.  )) |

Kearen pulled him up and set him on a barrle. She finished the main floor and then went to the corners.

Dire cursed and leaned back, taking the second mop from the wall and washing around his barrel.
