"Wait! Kearen!" Dire said as he stumbled after her down the hall.

Kearen dashed up the stairs. She paused at the top. Her eyes widened as she saw the big wave headed to the ship. "DIRE! GET BACK!!" She yelled turning back and twacking him with her staff before she dove to take shelter under the stairs

The staff would have worked, but Dire was at a full sprint down the hall after her, and was sucked into the deck as the wave hit.

Kearen was dashed out to the deck. "Dire!" She yelled "Can you hear me?!"

Dire had been washed to the rail, but was sucked under it, and he managed to catch himself on one of the supports before he fel into the sea. "Kearen!" he yelled, "I'm over here!"

"hang on!" SHe yelled and dashed across the deck. The ship got tossed the opposite way she was running and she her head hit the other rail with an audible thud. She slumped against it, out cold

Dire saw Kearen go down right before he was hit with a wave and sucked into the sea.

A huge wave hit the ship, splintring it and flipping what was left over. Kearen awoak to the sudden cold that hit her. Swimming up she surfaced in the stormy sea. 'DIRE! DIRE!" She called

Dire woke up. He was clinging to a desolate board that had floated by him. All he could see in every direction was open sea.

Kearen coughfed and looked around. She was on a rocky shore. SHe suddenly gasped. Blackrock beach! She was at home! She looked back and forth down the beach, one or two of the crew where there but she didnt see Dire. She looked down and saw her staff at her feet. well at least i still have this. i hope Dire is ok
