The captain grumbled under his breath and shooed them away. Dire followed Kearen on suddenly unsteady legs. The storm had made him forget about walking on a ship.

Kearen sighed and sat down on her bunk.

Dire happily sat down on his bunk, which was about ten feet away from Kearen's. He couldn't see her due to the fact that their bunks had been set up in a storage room and piles of old equipment lay between their cots.

Kearen got up bad temperly and kicked the old equitment around and picked up her staff. She started swinging it in a swift pattern

Dire was about to say something to calm her, but suddenly the boat shuddered violently, and he was thrown out of his bunk and onto the pile of equipment, which proceded to fall on Kearen.

Dire tried to help her remove the equipment but fell on his face at least three times before sitting on the floor in frustration.

Kearen kicked the stuff off using the now rocking ship to help her.
"Well, Dire. This is your first storm whatcha think?" Kearen said trying to be optimistic

"Woah!" She cried as the ship tilted almost halfway over, throuing her off the bed into the other wall.
