Dire tossed his rope next to the others and straightened up, only stumbling slightly. He was getting used to the ship already.

((okay I shall set up the storm, but then i have to go) The sky on the horizon over the ocean was darking quickly. Low bruised storm clouds hung low over the water. The waves where getting chopie and starting to rock the ship. The air hung still and was heavy and warm. Kearen stood at the rail looking out over the ocean. Her face was krinkled in worry as she looked at the looming storm

Dire stood beside Kearen. "This doesn't look good."

Kearen nodded and pointed to the green and purple in the clouds. "demon storm." She whispered, her voice barly audible with a slight hint of fear in it. Her hand tightened on the rail.

Dire looked at Kearen and saw her tense. He didn't know what a demon storm was, but it didn't sound good at all.

Kearen's mouth moved in a silent prayer to Drenkz. She had scant little to offer him at the moment but still proceded. Her eyes scaned the storm and she felt the first of a breeze. "Dire, go find the captin he needs to see this." She said aloud imataing Lan's voice agian Not looking to see if he did as she said she strode to a higher part of the deck still muttring words in her language. as if in responce lightning crackled in the clouds

Dire nodded and went off in search of the captain. He almost ran into him as he was coming out of his quarters. "Sir, you need to see this." He said, then turned and went up the stairs to the deck.

Kearen scaned the oncoming clouds and spotted the one that hung low over the water. With the wind picking up they would not be able to out run the storm. She hated storms of this nature. Demon storms, with freak winds, green lightning, and lots of rain. She thought about the other name she had herd for them, hurricanes. She glanced around to the captain as he came to the rail. "we are in for a world of hurt."

((Lol...cue dramatic music as Kearen strikes a pose.))
The captain nodded and began barking orders to the other men. "You two get below deck, and leave the navigating to us."
