The horse picked up pace and Zeren tyed the reins to the saddle. resting his hand on the horses neck he reached to a quiver on his saddle his hand resting unesaly on an arrow. He genraly tryed to ignor the girl behind him, focusing on his task. Sooner he could drop her off he could get back to hunting. ((g2g, brb, going on a walk with my mom))

((okay, see ya))
It was dawn now. They were passing what must have been the old hermit's house when Tifa spotted a man with spiky, blonde hair behind the bushes. He was watching the hut. The door appeared to be open or knocked down. "Wait a minute. Stop for a minute Zeren. It looks like another thief over there." Without waiting for the horse to come to a complete stop, she lapt off and crept to the hiding place of the apparent thief. She got out her bow and knocked an arrow, situating it a hairsbreadth behind the man's head.

Cloud had gotten up early that morning and started his watch. It had been about fifteen minutes when he felt a sharp point on the back of his head. Great! he thought. What now?

Zeren gave a short crocked smile and dismounted. he drew his sword, its silver edging glinted in the sun rise, accompined by a short, clear ring. "well, look who got the first catch of the day." though the fraseing seem sarcastic, but he ment it as a compliment

((Um...why does Cloud have a watch? I thought that this world wasn't supposed to have that kind of technology.))

((Ah. I see.))
Geal awoke, surprised to find herself sitting with her back against a tree until she remembered the previous night's events. She scratched her head and yawned.
"Well," she said to herself, "I suppose now I don't have to worry about any werewolves. There'll just be a human, if he's still there at all, and I can deal with humans just fine."

Tifa gave Zeren an annoyed look. Then, she looked back at the man with the blonde, spiky hair. "Who are you and what are you doing here?" she asked him.
Cloud heard a woman's voice asking him who he was and why he was here. He replied, "I'm Cloud Strife. And as for why I'm here, well, I'm....waiting for someone. Now, would you care to tell me why you have an arrow pointed at my head?"
Tifa didn't like Cloud's answer. It sounded too much like what a thief would normally say in such a situation. She prodded Cloud's head a little hard with the arrow tip. "What are you really doing here?"
Cloud sighed. Why me? "I was sent to collect a debt that that crazy woman in that house owed to someone. I kindly asked her to come to the door a few times, but she wouldn't even reply. I eventually had to break in. She disappeared in a cloud of smoke and now, I'm waiting for her to come back. That's it. I didn't hurt her. I just needed to collect a debt, or - in case the debt could not be payed - take her to negotiate with the person she owed the debt to."
Tifa still doubted Cloud. "What do you think Zeren?"

Zeren looked at the back of Clouds head, then to Tifa, then walked around. locking pale green eyes on Cloud's he said "And who sent you to collect a debt from someone who never interacts with other people?"

"A store owner in Anvil, named Kakrikya. She sells certain remedies and such for things other than gold, such as the task she sent me on." Cloud was calm, now, but annoyed.

Zeren smiled and shook his head. "you my find what you are to get is more than yo bargened for." he looked at Tifa he said "you can let him go if you want. Unless your baised aginst werewolves. If you are i can show you what silver dose to them." he tapped the silver edging to his sword

Tifa was shocked. "Werewolf? He's a werewolf?" She still didn't put her bow down.
Cloud's eyes widened. How did he know? He's just a boy. And come to think of it, I'm not sure I know what silver does to werewolves.

"Wow!" Tifa stared at Cloud in awe for a few minutes. Then, her expression hardened. "So, would we be better off getting rid of him?"
Cloud hadn't heard the last remark. I guess I was making plenty of noise last night. Probably should've thought about that.
