"You see," Geal said, "A while back I purchased an item from a travelling salesman. This item was a small golden trinket called 'The Golden Eye'. The salesmen told me that I could melt the gold and turn it into whatever I wanted, and it would still have the same effect. The Golden Eye gives one the ability to place themselves inside the mind of another for five minutes. Granted, this only works once per person, but five minutes is more then enough time for someone who has something specific to look for. I was planning on using this to find out...well, never mind what i was trying to find out, but before I could do that, I was ambushed by a band of thieves and it was taken from me. This was far before I became the Geal you see before you, so I had no idea how to get it back. I've heard of many items, but this was the only one that could be used to fulfill the threat that was placed upon you. At least, to my knowledge."

Cloud nodded understandingly. "So, the thief could have had that item. I better get back to Kakrikya's shop quickly. Are you sure you want to stay here, Geal? You just told me it's possible the thief knows where everyone I know is. Don't you think you would be much better off at Kakrikya's shop with the rest of us? You'll be safe there."

Geal covered her left eye with her hand and slouched forward.

Cloud went over to Geal and put a comforting arm around her. "I'll be there Geal..... as long as I need to be," he said softly. "Are you ready to go? I don't know how long you'll be there, so make sure to come prepared."

"O...okay..." Geal said, not sure how to react to human contact. She awkwardly got up and began to pack several multi-colored bottles into a small wooden chest.
