Kaina tripped again from her ankle."Jaster ,wait...please don't go that fast.."she said her voice exhausted.

Kari stalked through the halls silently.She could feel more presenses growing closer to her.One,however was one she didn't want...the other felt familiar but was still so distant in her mind but felt oh so closer than she sensed it to be.

Locke, already steps ahead, looked back to Jaster and Kaina.
"We don't have time for this. Jaster, carry her."
Not wanting to deny an order, Jaster carefulle bent down, placed one arm under Kaina's knees and the other around her back, picked her up, and took off after Locke.
"Sir, will we get out of this alive?"
"Courage boy, courage. Aeric is on his way..."
Locke silented added an "I hope" to the end of that...

The wall suddenly smashes infront of Jaster and his party and Degaro steps through the hole.
"Hey, do any of you know where the dragoon is? And maybe Hurricane? I haven't seen him around....."
Degaro looks around and then at Locke.
"You look familiar somehow.....have we met before?"

"Shade! Move, Kari is either after us or the Count. If you're looking for a fight, I suggest that you find the Count first. I was hoping Hurricane was keeping Kari at bay..."
Jaster tightened his grip on Kaina.
"No reason to apologize..." He said with a smile.
Odd how one thing can bring happiness in a time of danger, isn't it?

TsuKariNiMae silently retracted her armor back into the crystal rings as she walked.She could hear voices ahead of her.Her white hair was flowing behind her , floating delicately through the air and her red eyes remained the fierce lok that she had always had in times like this of pure frustration.She needed something to take it out on.
She caught a scent, familiar...as well as the shade, Jaster, and Kaina.Kari grinned devilishly and threw a glamour over herself to make her look like a small child.
"H-Hello...?"she managed to say in a frightened voice, forcing herself to hide her excitement.

Locke almost stumbles over the tiny child caught that had wandered out in his path. He only manages to stop before running into her.
"Jaster, keep running until you're out of the castle. Transport will be available there. Don't ask any questions."
Jaster does what he is told and continues to run.
"Coming, shade?" He yells back, but Degaro is undecided.
"How can I help you, little gir-"
"Locke! Don't be fooled! Check her mana reading!"
Myrm was standing at the end of the hallway, scimitar drawn.
"I wasn't able to free Hurricane from her crystal, only Aeric will be able to! Defend yourself!"
Locke flung himself away from the "girl", not sure why but only on command of Myrm.
You don't second guess an Observant.

"Hmph..."she gave a evil look over to the observant."Either you must be extremely stupid or have some plan that has a .01% of working."She changed back with a simple blink of her eyes."To tell the truth I'm going with extremely stupid."She flew at Degaro ,with a speed so high that it could've killed a human, and kicked him hard in his side, sending him flying down the hall and out of a window."Get the point shade.."she hissed coldly."Now..."Kari said turning around silently."WHo's next?"

Aeric entered the building, stepping over rubble as he surveyed the chaos.
Scanning the room, he noticed a single crystal remaining, with a man trapped inside. Hurricane.
...crystal?!
He hadn't seen that since...
Drawing Empyrean, he went after the dragoon who had done this.

"TsuKariNiMae. Hmm." Empyrean glowed a bright hue, and Aeric brought it into a battle ready stance.
"Locke, take the children to the base. I'll deal with this."
"Yes sir," Locke said, saluting, "Jaster, Kaina, hurry up!"
Aeric circled Kari and sized her up.
"Well, I'm not sure if you know who I am. Are you sure you want to face me?"

Crow blinked swayed for a few seconds, then fell off of his perch. "That....was strange." he said as he took a swig of whisky from a small bottle he lifted from one on the partygoers.
