Degaro gets up agian.
"Dang I hate her...."
Degaro vanishes into a shadow and appears in one behind the Dragoon.
Now......lets see how you like it....
Degaro rushes up behind her and puts a hand on her shoulder.
"Grarl de Senra!"
Lightning rushes from Degaro's hands and electricutes the dragoon.

Aerci just stood still and made a silent comment of gratittude for the small favor the shade had done it. Granted, it had done abolutely nothing, but it had distracted Kari long enough for him to spin around and hold Empyrean at her neck.
"Now, leave this place. I will not kill you."

Finally outside of the castle, Jaster, Kaina, Locke, and Myrm were greeted by the Count and a man in a green cloak.
"Tremos, are we ready to depart?" Locke asked, once again putting his scythe on his back.
"Preparations are done, Locke." Hurricane said as he stepped around from behind a wall.
"I'm not sure how Aeric knows anything about crystal magii or dragoons, but he freed me. Now, we need to depart."
Giving the two Observants an exasperated look, Hurricane waves hsi hand.
"Let us go."
There was no flash of light or resounding bang to signify power, but the world around Jaster started to go blurry.
"..never get used to this..." He head Locke mutter.
~Jaster, Kaina, Locke, Hurricane, Myrm, Tremos, and the Count have left for the Guild Headquarters.

"It doesn't matter to me."She said coldly."Kill me if you like, but first I want to take care of a very annoying shade who just can't take a hint."Kari snapped her fingers and dragonpyre engulfed the area around the shade."Leave or be eaten."was all that she said, the blinding light of her dragonpyre making her snow white hair glitter.

For at moment, the two were at agreement. A look of remorse came across Aeric's face, and he stepped back.
"Fine by me. All shades deserve to die."
Slamming Empyrean into the ground, a holy barrier sealed the exits.
"Although when you are done with him, you will have to face me."

"Ok, that's perfect."Kari said with an evil grin."I look foward to it."
She closed her eyes and the room suddlyly becaoem encased in crystal, it creeping from her feet to cover everything around her.
She flew through the dragonpyre into the shade knocking them both into a crystal.
A moment later she steppd out of a wall behing Aeric holding a small crystal with the shade trapped inside."How's that for quick and easy?I'll throw him in a lake or something later."Kari said shrugging.

Aeric just stared at her.
"Works for me. Bonds are easily broken, however."
To demonstrate this, he touched the crystal. Turning from silver to gold, the crystal grew and then shattered, letting Degaro free.
"I know something about your...arts. Now, trapping him was too easy. You might actually want to fight him." a knowing look came to his eyes, but he didn't move.

A growl came from teh back of her throat.Kari flew at him with a blinding speed pinning him against the wall with her claws digging into his neck."Who are you, hume?"she asked him coldly.

Aeric's cold eyes glinted a gold color, and he shot back, "What makes you think I am human? Or any other race?" Ramming his elbow into her stomach, he sends Kari flying across the small passage and into a wall.
"And what are you, TsuKariNiMae? And who are you? Do you even remember??"

Kari sat there at the base of the wall for a moment feeling numb and confused."Your eyes.....They're just like......that man from earlier today....that was outside the library..."
