Dameus awoke on an pure black onyx floor that was slick and shining with.... ... blood? He got to his feet and looked below him groggily. He was laying within a pool of his own blood. Still in his fully encasing armor, he turned around to see a large throne with many numerous spikes and skulls peeking out and seemingly staring at him. There were high, tall windows along the sides that greyish dead light flowed in from the outside which was a dark curling storm that poured a rainstorm that was as vast as the sea upon the district. Laying upon the throne was a dark figure completely garbed in a black cloak that had a hint of crimson. No part of his body could be seen, but a long slim ebon black blade protruded from one of the sleeves. As the figure spoke, it's words made Dameus shiver with a feeling of upmost dread and fear, almost as if he was in a nightmare that he couldn't wake up from. The voice sounded very old and aged to the extreme, a hint of evil ricocheted around the room and boomed in Dameus's ears. Welcome, welcome Dameus Exavior. I have waited eagerly for you from the day that I first saw you when you stole my wyvern egg. Welcome back, welcome welcome. Dameus was frozen in pure astonishment and spoke quakily. Why have you brought me here?! Why haven't I? Are you saying you would have rather layed in Kari's library and die from the dragon flames? Ah, you see, I have saved you in a mere... proposition. Your life, Dameus, or the return of your lost wyvern in return for the lives of others and a few...requests. Consider this while you are in the other realm. Dameus couldn't speak. This man...could return Elasia? Possibly...possibly even Elasia Fearis?! In return...for the lives of others... While he is in the other realm? In a black flash that turned into a dazzling white light, Dameus woke in the crumbling castle within the Infinite Realm. *****

Dameus woke up back in the normal realm. He walked towards the man in the robes who was staring at him in the chair. Well, have you made your decision yet? Dameus scowled and his head sagged. Do with me what you desire...Anything...Anything for their return... The man laughed and rose to his feet, pulling out his long thin blade. First...A test to see if you are true to your word... You see, I am not the king. There is one other who is the king...I would like to take over this kingdom so that I might...do a few things. Things that would help greatly in the future to come. Now, Dameus, I ask of you to kill king Fabrith. This is your test. And to make sure you will stick true... The figure takes his blade and slashes Dameus upon his shoulder and Dameus falls to his knees, writhing in pain. Yes, yes...I have returned your beloved mark...If before the next dawn you do not kill the king, not only you...but your friends die...Now GO! Dameus was teleported in a flash of light to a room he never recognized before as the door suddenly opened. ((note, in the next post I reference Elasia in the other realm...do not listen to that, I posted this somewhere else a long while back))

Dameus sat down on a regally embroidered chair and his arms lay across the velvet and silver table in front of him. "Dimarex, how fare the troops?" said the troop commander with a hint of crude accusement in his voice. "They fare as well as they would be thought, commander." "Bah. I would expect as much from a general like you." spat the commander violently. "And how much would that be, commander?" quetioned Dameus wonderingly. "A lowly peasant's pay, that's what. Now, have you kept any track of their positions?" asked the commander with a crude face. "Of course I have. They are currently trekking between the mountains of the Dragon's Spike. They are headed towards the capital of the Trenthor empire. They are under my current instructions to keep hidden and stay as spread out as we can hope for. This will be no easy feat as the Trenthor empire just got their new flow of mercenaries to join and they have been rumored to find a small tribe of fight-willing darkmages. I fear that we may not have enough men to face their enormous army of mercenaries. All options may soon lead to retreating and losing the small island of Brek'Thor. Otherwise, if things go at our will and the gods grin, we may find a small light of victory." spoke Dameus with speially chosen words. The commander began to ponder over what Dameus had just said and nodded. "Make sure they have enough provisions for this long journey. We trained them quite well, I fear not for battle. I fear only the journey may be harsher than we imagine." spoke the ommander with a stern tone. Dameus spoke, "No matter, they will hopefully make it. They are the kingdom's best men." The commander nodded, agreeing. He finally waved to Dameus and walked out of the room, heading towards the army offices to make and send a quick letter towards the troop manager. Dameus twiddled his fingers and occasionally scraped off dirt marks on his armor. He pulled out a small handbook and began reading.
The door opened. Dameus looked up from the top of his book to see a long silver haired man with wrinkly skin that reminded him of old parchment. Light blue eyes flooded the mans squinted eye sockets and his nose hooked down to point straight at Dameus. The man wore blue clothes with dazzling embroidered golden trim and had a dagger belted at his side. "Good evening, Dimarex Exadon. How fare ye?" Dameus nodded and motioned for 'fairly good' and rested his head on his hand, his elbow rocking the table. "So, you say the troops fare just as well, eh?" Dameus nodded. "Great, thats great. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- "So, Dimarex.........Why don't you tell me....What did you hear last of the Skul'Keraths, the Eck'Thaa, or the Astri'Runes? I heard of them in stories older than myself but... I have heard some reports saying..." Dameus did not answer. Rather, he pushed himself out of his chair, rose higher than the king, and then whipped around and stalked out furiously. "So be it, Dimarex...After all...Your uncle must have told you never to tell..... Sean Fearon..." Dameus suddenly halted. He was silent. The footsteps of the king could be heard walking closely. Warm breath blew coldly on Dameus's ear. "Yes, Sean...I know of your past..." The words from the king were cold, frozen. Dameus froze with them as if stunned while the king suddenly let out a small laugh and walked across the room. Dameus found the power to turn his head to the side, his eyes staring at the ground, his mouth slightly ajar. He felt...How did he know? "Silly Sean. Your mother asked me so nicely not to let you die. She asked me desperately to take you to the village. Yes, Sean Fearon, I know every single bit about you...Every breath you have taken...I know why." Sean turned towards the king, a furious look stretching across his face. The air suddenly fell cold. Colors faded around the room, all turning into shades of blue and black. There was no red, no green, no yellow, no violet...Only blue to black. The skin on the pale face of Sean was colder than ice as he shook with furiosity. His breath could be seen in puffs of damp air that creeped about. The kings face darkened as his brow tightened, silver gritted teeth smirking. The king then spoke, "You hope to fight me? Kill me? Hah!" Sean was spat at by the king. "I could kill you with the click of my fingers. If you kill me, my will is done nonetheless." Almost immediately, Sean threw his hand out in front of him as an invisible force lifted the king and with immense power shoved him across the room. "How dare you interrogate what I swore never to tell! For that I wlll kill you, and death in turn I fear not!" Sean suddenly leapt at the king with his blade pointed straight towards him. The king laughed and Sean gawked as he was blasted straight in the gut into the cold hard stone of the wall. "I thought you would know better. I am a king, not a low peasant. I have been trained, Sean. I would suspect you to know much more." Sean was suddenly stabbed through his right shoulder and raised into the air. Sean opened his eyes to see the king with a grim face staring back with hard freezing eyes. Sean spoke with a soft yet furious tone, "Did...Did you send...The red cloaks.....?" The king laughed and Sean gasped as he was tossed off the blade onto the ground, his knees buckling as he rolled to his side. "Tsk, tsk, tsk Sean. I did not have a single thing to do with them destroying your beloved village. Rather..." Sean suddenly was kicked in the side with a great force behind the blow and he rolled until suddenly stopped by a foot halting him. "I believe the Black Knight had something to do with that sort. I would not be proper to answer that question, you should go and ask.....Oh, yes...That's right....You killed him off if I do remember right, memory when you're my age is quite pitiful if I must say so." Sean scowled and regretted it soon after as pressure increased dramatically from the leg resting on him. "Now, now. Don't get cocky." Sean was then stabbed again and lifted into the air. Sean stared with cold eyes at the king with furious intensity. "Hmph," Sean was tossed into the air as he suddenly grabbed his blade in his hand. The king flew towards him and they were suddenly parrying and sending blows with their sharp blades towards the other, their motions too quick and almost indetectable. Finally they caught blades and were held there for a moment as they suddenly threw out their free hands in front of eachother, each expelling off furious mana force towards the other. They stood like that for a moment as the king suddenly drew a pale face and his grin slightly faltered for a second. His hand was flown back and Sean broke their blades contact and lunged a hard blow towards the king. The king was flown through the air as Sean then leapt towards him with his blade out in front. The king laughed and twirled himself around with his blade standing straight out to his left. As the king twirled the blades met and Sean was halted in the air as the king shifted his weight and landed in the wall with his feet firmly upon its stone as he jumped off towards Sean. The tables had turned...to be turned yet again. Sean spun himself in a cartwheel and landed the kings blow with his blade as they were both sent tumbling in opposite directions. Sean landed on the ground with one hand firmly upon it and dashed towards the king as he did the same. "I will prevail, this you know Sean." Sean answered with a furious scowl and a few curses after as they parried and slashed at the other, their feet firmly in the ground while they battled furiously. Sean finally flung himself towards the wall and landed as he parried and slashed at the king on an opposite plane. Sean on the wall hovering above the king who was on the ground slashing straight back. Finally the king parried one blow especially and leapt in the air, performing a downward slice. Sean turned his blade horizontally and caught the opposite sword and then shoved the king off as he fell to the ground and stepped to his feet, catching the king's blade again in a clashing sound of metal upon metal. Finally the king flung himself at Sean so furiously, as their blades met and they were held in that manner for a moment a sonic boom of air silently blew through the room from the impacting force. "Sean, you know there is no escape. Elasia is dead...The other Elasia is in the opposite realm, held from this one...Every other person you knew is dead...What more is there for you to fight for? Humor me, please." Sean let out a violent bellow as he answered the king yelling at the top of his voice. "I FIGHT FOR WHAT CANNOT FIGHT IN TURN! I DO IT FOR I WISH THAT I HAD DONE IT FOR HER SO LONG AGO! THIS YOU KNOW!" The king laughed and they were tossed to the opposite ends of the room again. Dashing footsteps could then be heard as lightning sounded from outside, the light flashing through the long window that stretched across the room. And through the flashing lightning suddenly a few clangs of metal sounded. .........there was no more......... The lightning settled as suddenly a sound of metal slipping out of flesh was heard. Sean was gingerly pulling out his blade from a stunned king. "And never..........Shall I kill...........Again..........." The king gaped silently and clutched his heart as he tumbled onto the floor. Sean stood there for a few moments, taking in what had just occured. Sean then silently turned around and with dark, echoing footsteps stalked away slowly. His dark figure reached the window and he twitched his fingers. Suddenly the window melted into a boiling clear liquid and Sean stepped onto the windowsill. He stared out towards the dark stormy skies. How he loved stormy days. How he treasured them.... ........... Suddenly the king's voice was heard, a possessed tone overtaking his noise.
And they will then burn....Their corpses being creamated by ravenous flame....The Necromancer will rise......He will use blood of old remnance and create a new future....A new universe to house his grim evil....His desire is undeniable.......Inevitable........But first he must hide until his power has risen to an acceptional calibur. He will come. He will slaughter. And in the end, the apocalypse will reign with his immense chaos! They will all burn! THEY WILL ALL BURN!!!!
Sean whipped around to see the king hovering, his head cocked to the side. One eye was hidden behind hair and the one eyeball that showed was blaring white. He had a purplish aura surrounding him and he was darkened. Finally, his pure white eye suddenly seemed to sink into his head with a slurring, wet, grinding noise and a flaring grey eye was revealed with one slit and two dots at its sides, veins creeping up towards the center. Suddenly the king began to laugh with a harsh screeching noise until it turned into a harsh scream of voilent laughter that suddenly ended in a scream. As soon as the scream sounded a velvet wing suddenly arose from his right and with a flutter of dark jet black feathers the wing engulfed the screaming king. Finally a light blared and feathers dropped to the floor, no king following afterwards. Sean went pale with fear and finally leapt out of the window, landed on the ground, and dashed away towards his house. Sean know who the possessed king spoke about. He didn't wan't to think about it any longer, so he ended his thought. But he could hear the endless scream come from the king. It was the scream..... Of Elasia..... ..........

Dameus's head sagged and he crouched against the corner of the room, painful memories of his lost friends returning. His shoulder suddenly burned. He removed his armor to look at it and screamed as he saw the mark... GODS, WHY!! he spoke to nothing, continuing to weep over his painful thoughts. in an instant he raised his head to stare at the figure. ...Yes...Yeessss....Now I can become the king...He has earned bread, send some immediately. A shivering man thirty feet away in an instant yelped and dashed towards the kitchens, tears staining his cheeks. *** Dameus stood and walked towards one of the windows as it poured rain endlessly upon the district. Staring out he saw innocent people and children, men who were working to help their families, youths preparing for adulthood. Couples ready to marry, families having charming moments... All of which Dameus knew he now destroyed...For what? To return his only memories he cherished. All that he ever cared for. He would sacrifice...everything? Anything? Himself, even? What have I done... he spoke as he stared at the streets and silently cried. You have done what I whimmed. Would you rather not welcome the return of those you cherish? Your life is now in my hands, Dameus. As well as the lives of everything. Now, after your deed to kill the king and bring forth my power, do you really think anything else matters? I will not have someone working for me that pities others. Power is all you need. With it, you can have anything. Dameus still stared at the people of the district and thought of what would happen. Anything?... From the hood appeared the face of a man so aged his face resembled that of a pale skull. Red arches under his cold yellow eyes. Yes...Anything...

The newly crowned king turned towards the window and muttered to himself. Vok Nin Ginxin Mal? Dameus turned to the king. What...did he.... .... He said something Dameus understood...But he had never heard of it before. Unknowingly speaking he said Gin... The king laughed and turned towards him. Ven...Vok Nin Ma NinEhNin? Dameus lowered his head and spoke reluctantly. Fa...Nin Atras.... The king began to laugh and with a dark aura lowered Dameus to his knees. Tel Gina Ma Xeiga Nin, Eh Xeiga Nin Heixall...Dameus... Dameus knew what would happen next. Bracing himself as his head was lowered to the ground and Dameus was in a position of bowing, a noise could be heard of a brandishing sword and a dark energy growing. With a noise of ebon darkness Dameus felt pain sear across his back and he fell into darkness. Tel Yun...El GinXal Cal...

The king as suddenly as he spoke words pulled out from his cloak a ring. It was a silver ring with an onyx gem embedded within. Fiery runes burned upon it and within the onyx there was one. Deciphering it was almost impossible. He had never seen these runes before... Nin Nall Ziin Te Adalla, Dameus... Spoke the king darkly towards Dameus. He sighed and stared at the runes with intensity, thinking of deciphering it as the king had said. ... Lakk Te Ninarr Zhal Xhalnall A Akr Dia Na Xallta Spoke Dameus, almost in pure shock that he could read that. Motioning to put it on, the king spoke to him again. Feth Te Nethran Eh Asit Te Xak Na Mal FeLann Nin Ye NinXeiNil Til N'De... Dameus could not speak. The king would...lend him his power? Why? What did he plan to have Dameus do... ... Dameus took the ring and slowly took off the piece of metal guarding his finger under the gauntlet. He slid the ring on and as if he was being drowned felt power surge in him. POWER...It engulfed him and as he slipped the metal back on, he...he... Xak!! XAK!! screamed Dameus. The king laughed mauliciously. Xak Un N'De Nin Ye Moij En Xeig Til... Dameus rose to his feet and stared at the king. Hon Un In Nin Gil Ma En Vok... Once again the king laughed. Xan...N'De Yuni... Zeth, Link, Eh TsuKari... Silence...
