A figured clad in woodland browns and colors crouches down bow in hand a arrow knocked. A biting wind ran through the tree tops shattering the calm. The figure brings the bow up and pulls back on the string till hand was rested against the figures hooded cheek. Brush rustles and a rabbit darts running. The sound of the bow is heard then the rabbit crumples as the arrow finds its mark. The figure goes over and picks up the dead creature then wanders down the trail back to the camp that was set up. Upon entering the camp the crackle of a fire burning is head and light is cast upon the person. The figure was indeed a female as she would pull her hood back exposing a pale yet beautiful face. The woman had long black hair that was braided down, eyes were a shimmering sapphire blue and pointed ears would make her one of the elven kind, a very very rare site indeed. Upper body was clad in a simple loose brownish tunic, with a black cloak wrapped around her upper form with hood. Right hand had a brown archers glove while left hand had a brown glove on. Lower body was encased in dark leather pants and supple leather boots that road all the way up to her knees and were well worn with use. Pants were held up by a simple belt of black leather. Upon the belt on her right hip was seen a long knife, and on her left hip a long sword, both simple in make and looks. Upon her back was slung her hunting bow, a power weapon made of the finest oak.
Upon entering the camp the elven beauty would set her bow down then walk over to where she had a large flat stone. She would begin to skin the rabbit and clean it for the coming nights dinner. A soft sigh is head coming from her lips and she would mutter to herself "Lucky, very lucky i found this, game is so scarce this time of year" a biting chill would creep up on her as another gust of wind would blow around through the tree tops making her shiver. She glances up to the setting sun and soon she had the rabbit ready to be spitted. Ellarian grabs the stick and places the skinned and cleaned rabbit on it and sets the stick back over the fire so it could cook. She then goes down to the small river that was nearby and would being to clean up. Once that was done she made her way back to the camp sitting down on her bed roll near the fire to warm up. Her hands come up and undoes her braid letting her dark hair loose to fan about her face. Over the next half hour she checks the rabbit that was cooking, and cleans her blades and bow. The smell of the rabbit had her stomach rumbling so once it was done she would begin to eat the tender meat with a hearty sigh. She looked up to the cold paleness of the moon and stoked the fire before she laid down and fell asleep.
As hours passed, and night turns to day Ellarian would dream, dream of a time of green and laughter, dream of the days she was a child. The sun rises and with the first light cast upon her face Ellarian would awaken and groan as she sat up. Body was cold and stiff but she would force herself to get up. The fire had burnt down by now and she would finish up what was left of the rabbit for breakfast. Once that was done she moved down to the river once more and stripped jumping into the water and gasps out loud "GODDESS BLESS! that is cold" she says to herself then begins to wash. Once that was done she climbs out of the water and quickly dresses for the clothes were freshly cleaned the day before. Once dressed the elf made her way back to her camp and break it down and make all traces of her presence vanish as best she could which took her no more than a half hour. With the sun rising in the sky she wraps a piece of dark cloth around her ears, mouth, and nose to keep her warm and hide what she was, she then would pull the hood over her head and wrap the cloak about her. Ellarian would then make her way to the trail and continues on down the path heading for the city on the outskirts of the Forrest.
Hour upon hour pass as Ellarian walks with only a few rests in between, she needed to get to the city by midday at most. She looks up to the rising sun judging she still had a good amount of time until midday yet. She sits down on a large rock taking deep breaths as she rests her weary feet for a few minutes. Rustling all around could be heard, the sounds of birds made for a pleasant experience. Ten minutes go by and Ellarian would be up and continues on her way. Soon she finds herself at a fork in the road and the elf would walk up to the wooden signs reading the names and would take the fork on the left. Hours go by again and soon midday rolls around and the woman would find herself at the edge of the forest staring at a large city about an hours travel before her. "finally out of that damned forest" she mutters quietly then heads on. For the next hour the elf traveled towards the city then enters through the gates only to be stopped by the two guardsmen at the gate. One was rather large in both height, and weight, while the other was basic in stature "Halt, who are you and what do you want here" the large man's booming voice rings out. Ellarian stops and looks to them "I am a simple traveler, weary of the road and looking for an inn" the large guard studies her, taking in the bow "Fine, but don't go causing trouble now, there's an inn in the main square of the city" Ellarian nods "i will not" she then walks off into the city.
Ellarian padded down the cobbled streets her boots barely making a whisper of sound. She looked about and people would glance her way then move on, only a few now and then kept staring as she walked. Soon the woman had reached the city square, the sounds and smells of food cooking were all around her and made her stomach rumble so she would stop at a small food stall and grab some bread stuffed with meat. She passes over the silver it costs then walks on. Ellarian would go to a rather nicer looking inn, one of the better ones in the area, and enters it walking up to the inns keeper. The fat inns keeper looked up and his jolly voice rings out "Welcome to the Wolfs Den Inn my name is Jacaby, shall i get you a room" Ellarian nods "yes, for two nights please" the inns keeper nods and writes down the date, time, and Ellarian would sign her name, then passes over the gold it cost. Jacaby places the gold coins in the safe box and hands her a key to her room. "Dinner will be served when the sun goes down, or you can order anytime after that" Ellarian nods and makes her way up to her room which was on the second floor at the very end of the hall.
Ellarian closes the door to her room and lets out a relieved sigh before walking over to the bed and falling down on it grunting softly "a bed, a bed, my kingdom for a bed" she giggled out. It had been weeks or longer since she last slept in an honest bed, hell she couldn't remember when to be exact. A few minutes of laying there she rolls onto her back and sits up letting her traveling pack down on the corner of the bed then stands up. She walks out of her room and closes the door locking it before placing the key in her pocket. She checks to make sure she had her money pouch then walks down and to the innkeeper "How much for cleaning cloths?" Ellarian would ask. Jacaby looks at her "Two coppers please" Ellarian would nod and pass the copper coins over "i will bring the clothes down later on tonight" She would say then heads out of the Inn and makes her way down the streets, looking about at the stores and the city exploring it.
