The Longest Freaking Mis-Adventure EVER
by Joshua Wayne
In ancient days, there was a powerful race. This race was able to create beings, people, animals, objects, earth, sky, oceans and mountains, out of their very will. This race, though, consisted of a very small amount. And this power was so strong, it was only trusted in a small few. A trusted few.
It is in these few that we place our trust today--as the darkness of the world envelops the light, we depend on this race to protect us even so.
This race was known as "The Narrators".
Though they held great power, over the years the Narrators decided "Crap dude seriously... This is freaking boring. Let's go play video games or watch TV lol...", and soon the memories of their powers did grow smaller and smaller.
Later on, this power was long forgotten--the descendants of this race were now lost to the knowledge that they could change the very world. Thus, they led normal lives as people--never learning of their strength. And as years passed, they would continue to be void of their knowledge, until a fateful day arose in one of the worlds created.
A boy named Josh Wayne got on a site called "OblivionGuilds" and began devising a story. His friends, Brittany, Hudson, Zach, Clark, and Brandon, all helped him devise these stories. Before long, he had created a world of his own--and his friends had created worlds of their own as well.
It would turn out later that fate finds us all sooner than we expect, and stories shall be created.

THA NARRATOORZZZZZZZZZZZZ
It was the beginning of Knollfaust, the ritual of Thunder. Balthazaar, the accursed Tyrant Emperor of Gortek, was appraising the cruel altar of the Fallen God, Vesteroth.
"Return! Return, my ruler! My king!! Return to us!"
Balthazaar continued chanting in ancient galdrar, raising his shivering left arm above his head and producing a sharp bone-white knife from under his vicious cloak.
With a visionless movement, he struck his palm with the blade. A red liquid began oozing from a wide gash, and he lowered his palm to drizzle the substance along many a carved vessel within the floor.
The crimson ooze began a small river within these canals, but as the canals continued to fill with blood--they began to spread among the many indents within the rock, soon forming a circle of many lyricals and long-forgotten letters that even Balthazaar was faint to remember.
"The blood of the descendant, now... now I need.."
Balthazaar began swiftly moving his pale hand among the surface of stone, writing in his very blood a message that was required for the ritual.
"Now... Now for you, Skul'Kera." Spat the old King, chords of siliva flaying wildly.
A shadowy figure began inching forward at an almost mechanical pace--as if not driven by motive, but driven by commands.
The figure stepped into the light, his pale skin reflecting the moonbeams cast from the ceiling.
"My Lord."
"Yes, Skul'Kera... Give me the weapon..."
Balthazaar recoiled his wounded hand under his black cloak and raised the right hand towards Skul'Kera, beckoning.
Skul'Kera stood still.
"What... You, you buffoon.. Ever since that fool of a stick cast Redemption on you, you have been near to useless.. Such a waste.. Give it to me, or I will--"
"Yes, my Lord."
Skul'Kera reached to his waist, hidden under his cape, and with a hesitating hand produced a dark sword void of any color.
The sword seemed to hum with a drum of air, it seemed, beckoning to the wielder to feed it.
Skul'Kera slowly handed the sword to Balthazaar. Balthazaar quickly snatched it from Skul'Kera's hands and rose from his seat.
Turning around, Balthazaar strode jeeringly towards the stone altar. Leveling the sword horizontally, he lowered it carefully onto the cold surface and swiftly retreated.
"Now there is only one more task... Skul'Kera, bring m--"
There was a brief pause. Balthazaar was unsure of what made him pause, but it was if the air around him grew colder. Balthazaar did not understand this feeling--it was everywhere.
Balthazaar felt weaker all of a sudden. What was changing?
He then made a brief motion to turn around, but found he could not. Something was stopping him.
Then, he looked down and saw that a bleeding sword had pierced his chest.
"You are the last task. My Lord needs a vessel if he is to return--you must provide this vessel. It is my task to make sure you provide this vessel."
Balthazaar opened his mouth to speak, but soon his words were mere puffs of air, and eventually his entire figure fell limp.
Now was the last task that Skul'Kera must perform. The mirror of Twilight must be brought forth and placed in the center of the blood-circle. Balthazaar's body, freshly dead, must be deposited on top of the mirror. Then, the circle and all that lies within it's boundaries must be burned.
Skul'Kera unstrapped the leather bag from behind his back.
Breaking the seal, he lifted the cover and unveiled a moon-lit mirror.
"Thus shall be done, my Lord." And with that said, Skul'Kera strode towards the circle, tenderly placing the circular mirror within the indentation.
Thus done, he returned to Balthazaar's corpse and lifted him up easily. Depositing him onto the mirror, Skul'Kera departed the circle and proudly walked towards the sword placed on the altar.
"Thus shall be done..."
Clutching the hilt of Oblivion in his hands, he lifted the sword graciously from it's bed and pointed sharply towards the body of Balthazaar.
"The blood of the descendant, freshly given, the flesh of the descendant, unwillingly sacrificed, the container of the claimer, rightfully thy own, and the echo of the avatar, fulfilled. I raise thee from the other void--the realm of infinite punishment. Return my Lord, King of Crows, Fallen God, return in the full flesh and blood and mind that you and I share."
A dark pulse of air resounded, shaking the very foundation of the temple.
The ceremonial circle burst into an inferno of blue flames, reaching and swiping at the air, burning the contents.
"Now, my Lord, I restore you to your full glory!"
Reaching into the leather bag, Skul'Kera retrieved a shimmering black stone. Clutching the stone tightly, he drew back his hand, held it there, and then shot the stone into the flames.
The flames became a wall of blue light, shooting into the air and through the hole in the temple. The light continued, a roar of unconceivable punishment resounded, blurring the vision of Skul'Kera.
The roaring began to die down, the wall began to diminish, and from the flames produced the figure of Vesteroth--reborn.
His hair fell down to his shoulders, a sleek and bright blonde--so bright it almost appeared a clear white. His eyes, when they opened, were a glowing ice-blue. His mouth formed an almost vile form of a smile, so vile that looking at it made someone feel as if acid were pouring down their throat.
Vesteroth paced forward, his black leather coat unfurling in the wind like black wings.
"Skul'Kera. My sword."
Skul'Kera leveled the sword in his hand, horizontal to the ground, and offered it to Vesteroth. Vesteroth's eyes opened wider with a sort of envy and he grasped the sword like he would grasp a friend's hand.
"Oblivion..."
"Yes, my Lord."
"You have done me well, Skul'Kera. You are a most useful tool."
"I do hope so, my Lord."
All of a sudden a loud shifting noise reverberated through the long hallways.
The tall doors of the Temple were opening. As soon as a space wide enough for one body to squeeze through, Vesteroth could sense the presence of someone more important than the others.
"A remnant... Has returned." he spoke softly.
Immediately as the door was open, a streak of blue made it's way towards Vesteroth.
Vesteroth sharply blew through his nose and swung Oblivion to halt the sword attempting to kill him.
"You are familiar, remnant."
Link, his face blazing with rage, grinded his teeth and made another move to kill the King of Crows.
Vesteroth, as if he were merely sure of what was to happen, deflected Link's blow.
"My name is Link Ecrai, son of Zodack Ecrai! I will defeat you in his name!"
Vesteroth's stare bore into Link's eyes and the two traded another swing at the other.
"Link is your name... I remember your father..."
Link ducked a swing from Vesteroth and motioned forward to stab him through the chest.
Vesteroth turned to the side and brought down his sword, though Link was already aware and leapt forward.
"Then you should know not to underestimate me."
"Hmpf. As I recall, he never beat me."
Link grunted and moved forward with another swing.
The two continued fighting, attempting to intimidate the other.
Sean, on the other end of the room, noticed Skul'Kera walking past the duel of Vesteroth and Link and proceeded towards the Order.
Sean took a step forward and prepared to fight Skul'Kera.
"I have learned since we last fought."
Skul'Kera's expression refused to change.
"I will defeat you for my Lord demands it."
"Hmpf. Don't get regal with me, Shadow."
Theodore took a step towards Alena's leg. "Alena, they're going to hurt Wink and Sean! Can we help them?"
Alena brushed Theodore's hair and knelt to his level. "Theo, we are not as skilled as they are. Yes, we could help, but this is their fight. None of us could stand a chance against them."
"But Alena!" Theodore began, but Ivan walked towards Theodore and also knelt to his level.
"Little one, we will help if we find need to help them. Do not worry. Come here." He said, and he lifted Theodore, walked towards Ivy, and handed him to her.
Ivy smiled and wrapped her arms around Theodore.
"Don't worry, Little Cat." Little cat was a name Ivy had invented for Theodore recently.
Theodore smiled and laughed. "Little cat? Kitty!" he said, pointing to Marcus.
Marcus had changed his fur to a pitch black, he appeared to be some sort of cat, though he was as big as a bear. It looked as if he could stand on his back legs if he felt like it, though he was perched easily on all fours. Large fangs hung out of his mouth, and his eyes were a golden brown.
Theodore, don't call me Kitty. That's not my name. It's Marcus. You keep forgetting it.
Breart's head peeked out of the door and bumped Marcus' in his side, sending him sideways a few feet.
He is young, do not treat him as one of us.
Kaiser and Leanne were quite motionless. Kaiser blinked, turning his head to Marcus. "For this fight, if we were at all to join, I would suggest not using fangs. They get in the way--they also make you look prehistoric."
Marcus grunted. I'm sure you would be one to know if fangs got in the way. You're only jealous.
Kaiser's eyes darkened and his face contorted in rage.
"Jealous? Shut up you stupid cat!"
Leanne smiled and laughed briefly, placing a hand on Kaiser's shoulder.
"Hold off on the insults, Kaiser. We have more things to worry about."
Kaiser's nose twitched. He seemed itching to retort and kick Marcus, though he kept still.
"Yes, my Queen."
Sounding like Skul'Kera now... Hehehe...
Link was intent on his goal, though the battle never seemed to get easier, only more intense.
When Link would leap for an attack, Vesteroth would only find away around it and deflect it. Then he would attack Link and Link would only barely parry it.
The battle never found a winner, and so the two kept fighting.
Skul'Kera made a charge at Sean, though Sean managed easily to deflect it with his lance. Then, Sean lunged at Skul'Kera, though Skul'Kera would manage to step out of the way and make another move to slash at Sean's head. Sean easily parried with his lance and would rush at Skul'Kera again, though the battle was always a repeat of the same attacks.
Sean could only hope to win.
The battles did continue, and the night seemed to continue on, until Link and Vesteroth were caught in a mere test of strength--each pressing on the other's sword.
"Vesteroth!!" Link managed to say, forcing as hard as he could with his sword. Vesteroth, appearing not to use all of his strength, lowered his gaze. All of a sudden, the connection of swords was lost and Vesteroth forced Link into the wall.
Link was hit hard and collapsed on the ground.
Vesteroth smiled. "Now collapsed to fate, are we?"
Link's eyebrows were cross. Link could hardly speak.
It was as if the world was draining into a pool of nothing under Vesteroth's feet.
"You are weak, Link. My power is infinite. You are to die." Vesteroth said with his cruel smile.
Link forced out a tear and lifted his head to stare at Vesteroth.
"I will not die against you, you wretch of a being!"
"Hmm." Vesteroth hummed to himself.
Vesteroth's eyes lowered and he raised his blade above his head.
"So be it. You will die against this blade."
And with that, he brought the sword down.
Link closed his eyes, ready for what was to come. But when nothing happened, he looked up to see Vesteroth's eyes wide open. When Link looked closer, he saw a frosty coating of ice climbing up his shoulder.
"Awizal!" Link shouted, and Vesteroth raised Oblivion above his head, swinging blindly while he tried to break the ice on his arm.
"Aah!! You dog, Grendo!"
Link was snatched up and carried to the wall. Awizal laid him down and stood to his full height.
"Rest." was all Awizal said, he then grabbed Empyrean from Link and disappeared siwftly.
Link blinked and felt his bruises. They were fresh, and they hurt more than any he had ever endured.
Looking forward, he saw Awizal and Vesteroth fighting one another, each as if they knew the other's move. The two were locked in such fierce combat, their eyes were never blinking, their arms were constantly changing direction, their feet were blindingly fast, all that told they were fighting was the breeze of sparks that flew around the room.
Link was feeling tired. He knew he couldn't sleep, but he was unable to keep his eyes open for more than a few seconds. The fight continued, and his slow breathing was growing slower.
All of a sudden, a woman in a red tunic and black pants darted towards the center of the room.
Link had never seen this woman before. She had long brown hair, bright green eyes, she was graceful while she moved--as if walking was dancing to her.
She continued to look between both fights, the one between Awizal and Vesteroth, the one between Sean and Skul'Kera, and then she looked at Link. Her green eyes bore into his own, and he was unsure what to do.
A voice spoke in his mind. Are you Link Ecrai?
Link blinked slowly and nodded. I... My name is Link, yes... Who are you...?
My name is Ari-... There's not much time, I'm sorry--I have to do something quick.
Link shook his head, confused. What are you do--
before he could finish, though, he saw a blur of white dashing towards him.
It was Nicodemus, Link could tell, and he crouched next to Link and stared him down.
"Link, are you alright. You look tired. What has happened so far?"
Link shook his head again. Everything was confusing him.
"Link... You have a large wound on your arm. Let me bandage it, stay with me."
Link couldn't hardly speak, though. He was intent on seeing what the strange woman would do.
She was waving her fingers in the air, her mouth speaking so fast that she appeared like a ghost in a dream.
She continued speaking, Link could make out none of what she said though.
Closing her eyes, she brought her hand down to her chest and then thrust it into the air.
A green light flooded the room, covering everything, and Link blacked out.
And so, our young heroes were taken from their dimension of Aldraa'Norrech into a dimension called "this is freaking Earth." Little did they know that this dimension consisted of actual people that come from many, many years after they would. Something that would be of concern is the fact that they all appeared in America, with American fast-food and American shopping malls and American Oprah and American Television and American Comedy and American Gerbils and American Wal-Mart and American Plane Stations and American Gas Stations and American Waffle-Houses and American JOSH'S HOUSE.
This is something that could be of concern to our young adventurers. Now, the team appeared in a culdesac--an empty one, that Arissa herself had chosen. Arissa is an over four-thousand year old girl who came to Aldraa'Norrech in hopes of saving it from it's doom, which is when she intercepted. Arissa took our young heroes to America because she wanted them to get spanked by their narrators, though Arissa was unsure how Joshua Wayne would react when he was pitted against thirty plus of his characters that he invented.
Josh Wayne would not be pleased.
Nonetheless, Arissa brought these characters anyway--hoping to take them to their Narrators so as to be grounded.
Mainly Vesteroth, Skul'Kera, and Kaiser.
Definately Kaiser.
Arissa originally decided to shepherd each of the characters to their Narrator's home, though Arissa discovered she would be bored by doing that and decided to go visit Brittany at her house anyway. Next to that, all Arissa did was tell Link to go visit Hudson, Lan to go visit Clark, Centis to go visit Hudson, Awizal go to visit Brandon, Zeth and Degaro to go visit Zach, and everyone else to go bug Josh.
The characters were confused by the word "bug" because it made no utter sense.
Why would they throw bugs at Josh?
Nonetheless, the characters grabbed all the bugs they could--Theodore holding the most because he enjoyed digging in the dirt--and they did soon depart for Joshua's house.
Thus began our character's adventures.
Oh and by the way, well, Vesteroth and Skul'Kera decided that this was all...like... too interesting... so they stopped fighting Link and everyone else. They all thought this place was kinda cool. THOUGH Nicodemus had a problem with letting the evil characters survive, he still thought that Earth was like the

Josh heard weird noises outside of the front door. He was working in his room, sketching his Art II project--a project with himself inside of a box. Josh liked boxes.
After moments of loud i-Pod music, he could hear a firm knocking at the door over the loud volume of his tunes.
Sounds like too many people. :l maybe Kenneth got Ian and David. Or maybe it's Brandon and his family. Wudeva.
Curious, and above all hoping that it wasn't U.P.S. who stood at the door(they annoyed him quite a lot), Josh walked to the door and answered it.
*****
And so, the light of Earthen day shone upon the heads of the warriors, those of good, those of evil, those of weird-personalities, and those of strange chickenry.
And Kaiser.
Dameus blinked and took a step towards the door, knocking on it. Moments passed and no one had opened the door.
He knocked again, this time a bit louder. Anon the door had not opened. Dameus, now slightly annoyed, began playing the door like a drum with his fists, and so the door began to open.
A strange man stood before them, he was swathed in weird colors, red, green, blue, all in the same shirt. Yellows and pinks and indigos and violets, every single color of the rainbow stained in his shirt. A checkerboard vest was wrapped tightly around this rainbow-shirt, and of all things this man had the most curious green coat.
At first glance, this man seemed to be interested in conversation. Then, his eyes grew wide--Dameus wondered if something was wrong.
"Is there something wrong?"
The man, as if pushed by Dameus' words, fell backwards without saying anything.
Ivan stepped forward and leaned his head just above Dameus' shoulder.
"You killed him!!"
"What?! No I didn't!!"
"You idiot!! You just killed this innocent man! EVERYONE! ATTACK HIM!"
"WAIT!!" Dameus shouted, raising his hands in the air as the rest of the group drew their weapons.
"We can mug his stuff!!"
"...OMG AWESOME IDEA!!"
-so totally mugged-

Brandon heard the doorbell ring. He logged off of WoW and walked towards the door, rubbing his neck. He peered out the glass¡Xit was quite fuzzy, but there seemed to be a lot of blue.
Curious, he opened the door. It was Awizal.
"Hi. I'm Awizal."
Brandon blinked.
"Hi."
Awizal blinked.
"Well, I've got to be going now." Awizal said.
"Okay."
"Goodbye."
"Bye."
*among other-other places*
Zach heard a knocking at the door. He put aside his DS game and proceeded to answer the knocking.
"Hi..." Said Zeth.
Zach took in a deep breath.
"Brittany is doing this isn't she?"
"Who's Brittany?"
Zach's eyes widened.
"What are you doing here?"
"I don't know. Can I go now?"
Zach shrugged.
"Can I see Sen Sakuraki?"
"No..."
"Awww¡K. Please??
"No..."
"... Fine, fine. See-ya."
Zeth turned around briskly and glided off. Degaro hovered by the door.
"Hello."
Zach took a step back. "You get out of here now!!"
"Why? This is fun... if we had a bit of fighting going on. Do you want to fight?"
"NO!"--and with that, Zach slammed the door in Degaro's face.
*among other-other-other places*
Brittany answered her door.
"Hi Arissa!"
"Hey Brittany!"
"Hey everyone else!"
"HEY BRITTANY!"
"I'm bored. Do any of you feel like swimming?"
Arissa smiled and nodded. "Of course."
*a while later at Brittany¡¦s I guess. An hour probably. Idk STOP ASKING ME.*
Brittany's cell phone began to ring.
"Hello?" Brittany answered.
"BRIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIITTANYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY35!#@%&!%&@$#^!#$^!#$@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@"

"Brittanyyyyyyy!@$!@#$^! Freaking--everyone--has--invaded--my--HOUSE.... FREAKING SAVE ME!#%r!@#$^ They muuugggeddd meeeeeee!@#$!@$#^"
Brittany on the other end of the phone laughed.
"Who's there?"
"WHO DO YOU THINK? Oh gosh I hear them messing with stuff in my rooooom!!! Noooooo!! Ivan's playing the piano!! It's a brand new piano!!"
"Ivan? Josh you're freaking out. One second, I'll hand the phone to Arissa."
"Wait who?"
"...-muffle muffle-... -lol in the background- Hi."
"... WHAT ARE YOU DOING TO BRITTANY?"
"Nothing? Why? Aah, wait, never mind, back to the point.. what's going on? Is everyone from Aldraa'Norrech bothering you?"
"YES!! AND THEY MUGGED ME!!! Or maybe Dameus mugged me... my coat's missing.. and my checkerboard shirt that I wear above my tidi shirt.. And if he took that, that means he has my fancy pen! And I LOVE my fancy pen!! AAAGHG!!~@"
"Okay, so do you need the police or something? It doesn't sound like they're doing anything that bad."
"THAT--BAD?? THEY MUGGED MY COAT!!! I love my coat!%!#$^!#$^"
"Okay, whatever. You need me and Brittany to help?"
"PLEASE!!"
"Okay..."

Hudson heard the doorbell. He was on OG, tweaking the sub-boards. Clark said he'd answer the door, but Hudson told him it wasn't necessary.
And alas, as he reached the door..
"HOLY FREAKING CRAP CLARK IT'S LINK!"
-from the distant Clark's bedroom-
"Cool. Tell him I want the triforce of courage, he's not cool enough."
";LASKJDF;LASKDJFAS;DK@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@"
"Uhh... Hello I guess... And I don't have a triforce... It sounds like it's ripped off of a strange story I once heard long ago... Hmm..."
Clark decided he would come to the door to see what it was Hudson was freaking out about.
"... Where's Lan? Dude... How could you forget Lan? -.- Nerd."
Link blinked. "Uhh... Ok."
-Hudson passes out-... -Clark throws a milk carton at Link-...
"... I'll leave I guess.."
*back to the first place*
"Oh god, Brittany, they're messing with my i-Pod. Dameus is listening to the song where he dies--Ivan's playing with my dresser droors--Theodore is playing under my bed--Sean is sifting through my nutcrackers--Kaiser is... playing with the kitchen faucet..." I said. Brittany laughed over the phone and told me she'd hang up because she was pulling over on her bike by my house. I was hiding behind the couch in the living room, staring inside of my own domain. They were in... my... domain...
Vesteroth was drinking milk from the carton. Aaron was trying on my shoes. Umbra was trying to figure out how he could take control over my ceiling fan. Centis was deciphering the phone book. Alena was eating my mom's roast. Kurt was sitting against the wall. Luccile and Luthas were both asleep on the carpet. Skul'Kera was eating cat food. Ivy was punching the wall that had a hole in it(I guess she thought the hole meant people were allowed to punch it). Korfoortis, Xalbar, Mahon, Kyrg, all were observing the coat closet. Rachel found an umbrella. Leanne was reading each book in my sister's room. Oh god, they were all IN MY HOUSE!
Brittany opened the door and rushed inside. Arissa followed behind her and swiftly shut the door behind her.
"Hey, everyone!" Arissa called out. Everyone stopped.
"Okay, we all need to leave Josh's house. He doesn't like you all being in here, so file out one by one. And give his stuff back. He told me that someone mugged him."¨
Dameus stiffened and stepped backwards into my room.
MY ROOM. ARRGH.
Ivan scratched his helmet. "Who's Josh?"
Arissa sighed. "Josh? He made you all?"
"YOU MEAN HE'S GOD?!#@%"
Arissa sighed again. "No, no, no. He's a narrator."
"Is that another name for God?" Theodore asked curiously.
"No!! It means... he... you are all like... puppets. He made you all puppets."
Everyone blinked. "We don't have strings attached though..."
"Agggh, by puppets I mean...!! Oh, pffth. Whatever. Just leave. And Dameus, you give him back his stuff right now."
"NO. THIS COAT IS MINE. FINDERS KEEPERS12#$^!#$^"
I was fed up with my characters. I walked to the garage near-blindly. Freaking crap, my characters. THIS IS NOT MEANT TO BE.
I shut the garage door softly behind me, and Brittany was laughing on the other side. "Pssh, Josh. You're scared of your own characters."
I shook my head. Yeah, lol. I am freaking freaked out by my freaking characters.
I stopped mid-step from the Attic stairs.
Outside the window, eyeing me, was Breart.
He grunted, and I climbed the stairs, whimpering.
I crawled against the several tubs of Christmas stuff and breathed in deep.
Don't worry, Josh. You're just having one of those weird moments..like when you eat peanut butter and bananas before bed. You have crazy dreams. This is one of them. Yes, this is one of them. Just pretend you're in that weird highschool dungeon again. That was cool.
Wait, I wear my coat in my dreams. FREAKING. AWESOME.
Kaiser walked in front of Brittany and stuck out his tongue.
"You are so stupid! Who do you think you are, bossing the Order around? Hmpf! We are not meant to be tossed around by brutes like you. You stupid brute! HMPF."
Brittany smiled and snapped her fingers, sending Kaiser sprawling into the wall.
"Oh... d-d-dear..."
From the distant room, Joshua's mom called from her room.
"Josh? Are you okay?"
Brittany blinked. "Oh yes, he's fine ma'am!"
"Wait, Brittany's here? You're here? Hey there, girl!"
"Hello! :D"
The group of characters began filing out of the house one by one. Vesteroth made a grim face at Arissa, who in turn winked.
"Hah."
"You will pay when I rule this earth... or planet... or world... or continent... Or... city... Or house..."
"Riiight. Go on outside now. Oh, wait, have you ever met someone named Shay?"
And so, the journey began.. where several warriors... who I guess I'll list... decided to embark on a quest.
This quest involved a strange class of men and women called... [glow=red,2,300]The police.[/GLOW]...
Several of Joshua's characters were entrapped in a strange building called ...the jail..

And so, it was time that Hudson, Brittany, Arissa, Josh, Zach, Clark, and Brandon all gathered together to discuss what to do with the characters...
I was freaking fed up... Lol.. Seriously.
My freaking CHARACTERS appearing in real life. That's NOT SUPPOSED
TO FREAKING
HAPPEN
OMG...
Seriously. What the crap would you do?
"Oh hi. I'm that evil guy from your stories. How are you doing?"
"...."
So yea, think of it that way.
Besides--too many people. Go figure.
Anyway, so we all got together--the Narrators.
This I guess would be called the "Gathering".
"BRITTANY. I DON'T WANT MY CHARACTERS FREAKING HERE.
Brittany laughed. ":P Well I never said we'd keep them. Most of them are yours anyway."
Hudson was slightly petrified. "This just isn't right, lol."
Clark was at the side, trying to invent a happy theme with drums. BANG.
Josh shook his head. "Brittany, we need Arissa to take them back. Seriously. Besides, why would we care about keeping them? You know I hate my characters."
Brittany grinned. "Arissa? What do you say?"
Arissa blinked and shrugged. "Whatever. But there is a reason I brought them over here, if you'd want to hear that first, Josh."
Josh was silent.
Arissa decided she wouldn't wait for a response.
"Well, apparently someone in this room invented an evil character. So evil it's evil past Vesteroth. Anyway, this character was getting so powerful, it had the ability to pass between dimensions. It could pass into this dimension at any moment. Think about it--what would the world do?"
Josh laughed.
"Umm... I don't see how just a character would do that. That means the person who made it is powerplaying."
"Yes. And one of you made it. Which one of you did that?"
The entire group was silent for a while and soon Clark hid a "BOOM BOOOOOOOM" on his drum.
Arissa sighed.
"Well, nobody seems to want to admit it."
Hudson raised a hand.
"Why in the world are our characters even existing? How are you existing?"
Arissa sighed.
"You don't know I guess."
Hudson laid back his head and shook it.
"Seriously, I have to be sleeping or something. This is all playing out like a freaking stupid movie. 'Oh... You didn't know? Your parents never told you did they...' Lol. Wow. Continue."
Josh rolled his eyes. "Exactly. So I must have eaten bananas and peanut-butter in real life. I guess."
Arissa shook her head. "Well, if you'll shut up and listen then I might explain. You are all actually an old race of people."
Brandon stood up. "This is cheap, lol."
Josh stood up as well, Zach wasn't sure whether to stand up or not.
"Guys, sit down. I'm pretty sure I'm not dreaming. I've never had a dream this cool. Lol."
Josh blinked. "Fine, I'll sit if Brandon sits."
Brandon shrugged and sat down, playing with a rock.
Josh sighed and sat down as well.
"So, Arissa, tell us--what race of people are we? HUMANS?"
Arissa scowled at Josh. "No. You're all Narrators."
Josh blinked.
"Umm.. That's just a joke between Brittany, Zach, and I... Lol..."
Clark kept hitting "BANG BANG BANG BANG BANG BANG BANG" on the drums now.
"Well," Arissa began, "No longer is it a joke. It's a true concept."
DUN-DUN DUN
Clark put down the drum sticks.
Hudson shook his head. "I never joked about that. Well, half of us didn't actually. So umm.. Why does that matter? We just invent storylines. Nothing much. And I'm inventing spin-offs and other stuff."
Arissa shook her head.
"The Narrators are long forgotten. They had a supernatural power, this ability was the power of creation. You all can invent anything. And when I say that, I mean ANYTHING."
Josh smiled. "I choose to invent a diet coke right here in my hand right now. Oh, look. It's not there."
Arissa rolled her eyes. "Not unless you're serious about it can you make something. Be serious."
Brittany blinked. "Umm.. I wish I had... tennisball."
Zach laughed. "A tennis ball. Well, I want a--"
Zach was pegged in the head by a tennisball.
"What??"
Brittany giggled. "You got oooowned. :P"
Josh blinked. "... Brittany, you brought that as a joke didn't you?"
Brittany shook her head. "No."
Brandon lifted his head. "Well, I guess I want a hoverchair.
Josh smiled. "A hoverchair. Lol."
Brandon's stone bench began to dye a strange white color. It wasn't long until the sides formed a strange chair around Brandon, and eventually the bench--now a hoverchair--began floating in midair.
Josh was baffled. Hudson's eyes were wide. Clark played a "DUN DUN DUN" again.
Arissa snapped her fingers and Clark's drumsticks began to burn.
"Hey!! Why did you do that?? ... I wish I had another pair of Drumsticks..."
-poof-
".... HOLY CRAP YEAH!!"
"BANG BANG BANG"
Hudson was laughing now.
"Umm. So we can do that in this dream I guess. I'll umm... I want... umm... I wish I knew what I really wanted."
-a list appears in front of Hudson lol-
"... Oh CRAP... Wow that's awesome. Hey! I wish I had some breakfast!!"
Zach suddenly had a sword. Brandon made himself a set of armor(he likes that stuff ftw). Brittany got Cebreus(lol). Clark got a new set of ULTIMATE AWESOME DRUMS. Hudson got breakfast.
Josh decided that he would like to leave.
"I SERIOUSLY THINK THIS IS STUPID. >8( BLARRRGGGGHHHHH. Ok guys, I'm going to leave. But umm... Oh wait!!"
Josh paused himself.
"We need to vote on this: Will we keep our characters. I vote no."
"I vote whatever." Said Brandon.
"Ehh... I guess." Said Zach.
"Umm.. I don't think it'd really work out well..." Said Hudson.
"BANG" Said Clark.
Brittany smiled. "Yes. :P By the way I count as two people."
Josh frowned. "WHAT?"
Brittany smiled. ":P"
Thus began the journey of the Six Narrators... Well technically five because Josh left for his house. Lol.
Arissa was driving Hudson, Britttany, Brandon, Zach, and Clark through the many streets of.... Well.... not Bentonville... not... White Bluff... so uhhh...
Whiton Bluffville. Yes. That is the name, Whiton Bluffville.
So, as they were driving, Hudson asked: "Where are you driving us? I have Band Camp."
Clark responded with a "Tum-tum-tum" by tapping the window.
Arissa looked in her rearview mirror and started at Hudson. "Well, we need to bail your characters out don't we?"
Zach kept stiff. "Well, if we bail them out, how will we take them home? -_- a brigade? 'Oh, look at the marching medeival warriors and mages! How entirely normal this day must be.'"
Arissa sighed and rolled her eyes. "I rented some Charter Buses."
Clark responded: "Dum dum psssssh"
Hudson blinked and shrugged. "Charter buses. Charter buses. Wow."
Arissa once again eyed him in the mirror. "Is there a problem with Charter buses?"
Hudson paused and considered, then shook his head. "No. It's just... I never thought I'd see that happen. Characters. Charter buses."
Brittany giggled in the front seat. "Well, I joked with Josh about that once. :P"
Clark laughed. "Jokes are coming back to haunt us now. Stop making jokes. :P"
Zach nodded. "Yup. Hey, I wonder what Josh is doing..."
Brandon broke his silence. "Probably being a noob. :P"
In other places with Josh being a noob...
I was really confused. Narrators. Yeah, that's just a joke. As I opened my bedroom door, I walked into my messy room.
Crap... they messed up EVERYTHING... I began picking up all the papers on the carpet, some of them were old school papers--I keep some usually. And they had gotten into my music dresser... Where I stored all of my sheet music. Wow. So I began picking those up too. They'd removed my bed covers, my piano was missing some keys, and my ipod had that ugly weird brownish line that passes along the screen whenever ipods get funky.
I gave a sigh and fixed it all up. Oh, and my nutcrackers. Wow. They'd messed those up too.
Well, it took a while, but I got it all put up. That was seriously annoying. But I noticed something weird.
When I was picking up the papers, one of them had a drawing from seventh grade. I remember it--I remember the storylines I had before my recent ones. There was a picture of the Gerona Dendao. I couldn't remember much of those stories, but when I look back on it I remember the name of something else. I did have a bad character in there. I think there was one or two.
One was that kid who I could never find a name for. The other, well, that was something else entirely. It was something very bad.
I remember it represented Lucifer. If I invented that character... if I had drawn him out on paper, which I probably had done, I decided I should find it myself. Because that story didn't have a necessarily happy ending. I remember he killed the main character. I remember he was going to leave the gates of Hell and enter their world, making Earth the hell of his own.
I shivered a bit. I didn't even remember those stories half-well. They were called something like "The Gerona Dendao" or "Final Destination", but I was real angry when I figured out that second name was taken. And I hated "The Gerona Dendao", seriously. That's ugly.
It took a few minutes, but I reviewed some piles of pictures and eventually found that one I was looking for--buried under several more recent drawings. I never found the one for Lucifer though.
I shook my head and put down the picture of the Gerona Dendao. I was headed towards my door, but then realized something--the Gerona Dendao was the only force that could stop Lucifer.
I picked the picture back up.
Back to Clark 'n Zach 'n Hudson 'n Brandon 'n Brittany lol.
The group of five narrators soon arrived at the jail. It was quite marvelous, seeing all of their characters stored in cells together. Link, Vesteroth, Skul'Kera, and the Band of Four were all stuck in one cell, then there was Kaiser, Ivan(they were taking tests on him, he was apparently a "rare specimen"), Kurt, and Luthas(sleeping). The third cell contained Theodore, Alena, Rachael, Ivy,
and Leanne, the fourth contained whoever else it is that I haven't mentioned because I'm so tired of making all of these things up since it's so brutally annoying. :P
Anyway, in general: they were all in jail. Baaad people, yes.
So as Arissa and crew arrived at the jail, they all ejected from the car and rushed inside. Brittany was first(I think she always was excited to laugh and see what our characters would do in jail)to enter the jailhouse and run towards the police officer.
She smiled. "Officer, have you seen any weird characters that had lots of weapons and some were in weird robes and others were really tall and there was some 6 year old kid and a few of them were really weird looking and one of them was a tiger?" she chimed.
The officer blinked. "Umm... We have some weird people, yes. But no tiger. We found a large cat, it's yet to be identified as a species yet--it was sent to the local zoo."
Brittany laughed. "Poor Marcus!"
Arissa chuckled and paused next to Brittany.
"Sir, we would like you to release those 'weird' people." she said with a smile.
The officer shook his head. "I'm 'fraid that just won't happen missy. Your voice sounds f'miliar, weren't you that girl who called us on the phone? Asking us to put 'em in here in the first place?"
Arissa lowered her smile and shook her head.
"Oh, no."
Brittany smiled wide in the background. She knew Arissa would be able to persuade him involuntarily with magic.
The other four narrators arrived at the door. Brandon muffled his eyebrows.
"Why does Brittany get so enthusiastic about this?"
Hudson shrugged. "No idea."
Clark smiled. "I just find it cool. Y'know? Narrators. But there's something I don't get."
"What's that?" Brandon asked.
Zach leaned against the door, staring off into the concrete.
"Well, if we're narrators--or at least, Arissa's description of a narrator--, how would our characters be here if we didn't make them come ourselves? And besides, can't we just use our narrator powers to get rid of that bad guy Arissa spoke of? In fact, nothing bad has happened anyway. What tells us there will be one?" Clark was confused.
Zach sighed. "Well, if I had to guess, it's because we can't affect other narrators. Or more specifically, you couldn't do anything to my characters, mine couldn't do anything to yours. So if you guys didn't make that evil guy, we can't stop him by just choosing to stop. So far, I believe Arissa. Our characters are here in the flesh and we're apparently the cause of it."
Clark nodded. "I guess you're right."
Brandon intervened. "Wait, so whoever created this evil character, can't they just kill them off? They created it in the first place, just defeating them should be all they need to do..."
The entire group was silent. After a few moments, Hudson shrugged. "Well, I think that they at least have a way to defeat the character. And look, we have our characters from our storylines. They can pretty much take down anything I bet. If they can defeat Vesteroth then I know they can beat this evil guy."
Clark shook his head furiously. "Arissa said this character was several times more powerful than Vesteroth."
Brandon nodded. "And maybe one of those reasons is because that character can't be killed."
Hudson sighed. "Well, no matter what, I'm sure the narrators will find a way."
There was a pause. Zach lifted his head and his expression contorted into confusion.
"Wait, if none of you made an evil character, and if I didn't--and I wouldn't put it past Brittany to do this, but she probably didn't do it either. That leaves one person who could have done it."
The entire group was silent.
Brandon shrugged and shook his head. "We still don't know if it was him--and knowing Josh he always has an end to his storylines, he should have a way to beat it just in case it is his character."
Zach lifted from the wall. "I hope..."
The team was silent.
A shot of gunfire sounded inside the jailhouse.
OMG WHAT ARE BRITTANY AND ARISSA DOINGGGGG?
HOLY CRAP GUNZ
HOLY CRAP GUNZ
Ivan was being poked by several needles. The surgeon was bizzared by his thick skin. For some reason, Ivan's skin was as hard as a rock. Of course, modern society doesn't understand the concept of Drageroks and their uber awesomeness, but nonetheless it intrigued him.
Ivan turned his head to the Surgeon. "Why are you poking me with strange flimsy swords? They tickle slightly."
The Surgeon shook his head. "Your skin is so... firm..."
Ivan blinked. "Where's my sword? Can I have it back, please."
The Surgeon turned to him and looked him straight in the eye.
"Your sword?"
Ivan nodded. "I expect you know what a sword is?"
The surgeon rolled his eyes. "You are not allowed to have your weapons back--you are in jail."
(that surgeon SHOULD NOT have said that)
Ivan lifted his arm, easily snapping the chains they strapped to tie him down. Ivan reached for the Surgeon's neck and clutched it. Not hard enough to choke him, but hard enough that the surgeon dropped the needles in his hands and attempted to pull Ivan's hand off of his neck.
"What... are you... doing!!... You could... choke... me..!!"
Ivan shook his head. "I won't choke you, human. Give me my sword back now. Give me my sword back."
The Surgeon's eyes widened. "Security!!... Security!!"
Ivan kept his clutch on the Surgeon.
"Your friends won't hurt me, human."
"Let me... go!! You can.. have your weapons... Just let me go..."
From behind the sealed door, an Officer halted at the window and started banging on the door. "Hey!! Hey!! Stop what you're doing right now!"
Ivan shook his head. "Give me my sword back."
The Officer looked bewildered. "What the dickens, he wants his sword. Security!! Get as many men as you can, gear up! We have an assault! Get an ambulance!"
The Surgeon was done struggling and looked back at Ivan once more.
"Please... just... let... GO..."
Ivan laughed. "I'll wait for them to open the door.
Arissa's eyes were wide open. "Brittany, someone's in trouble. They're calling for backup. Officer, let us pass now."
The Officer at the front put down the phone after calling in reinforcements.
"No, girly. You ain't passing here. You're working with them, aren't you?"
Arissa shook her head. "No, sir. But I can help. Let me pass, please."
The Officer shook his head. "You ain't passin', missy. If I have to say it again, you're going to be locked in there with 'em."
Arissa grunted. "Sir--you don't understand. Look, they're all... a club of mine. We were all celebrating Renaissance and Medeival fantasy. It's just something fun. Things got out of hand--and apparently something bad is happening. I need to see them, I need to talk to them, and apparently I need to help you guys."
The Officer proceeded to Arissa and Brittany, trying to push them back. Arissa didn't budge.
"Now ma'am, I understand you might be in a hiffy, but we're just a little full 'o trouble right now and we've got to get this thing solved. I mean, come on. One of them is being tested for skin samples, and that cat of yours.. that was an unidentified big cat. You seem more than just a club... Are you a conspiracy? A religious group?"
Arissa shook her head. "None of that sir, now let us through."
The Officer shook his head and reached behind his belt, pulling out a gun.
"Ma'am, don't make me use this weapon. You are smart, I take it. Well, I'll read you your Miranda Rights. You have the right to remain silent. Anything you s--"
"Ugh. Sir, you leave me no choice."
Brittany, deciding not to get involved and give Arissa space, backed away slowly.
Arissa pointed her palm towards the Officer's gun.
The Officer began shivering. "Ma'am, what are you? Some crazy witch lady?"
"I'm a full Shadow Host, actually."
The Officer closed his eyes and pulled the gun's trigger. Brittany covered her ears, ready for a loud spark of noise.
As soon as the trigger was pulled, a black wad of strange dim light retreated from Arissa's hand. The bullet was stopped in midair, though the black wad continued and struck the man in the eyes. The man screamed and fell backwards, collapsing hard on the ground. "Aaah! Black magic, black magic!! Aah!! Aaaaah! My eyes! I can't see nothin'!! Nothin'!! Security, someone shoot this lady!!"
Arissa rolled her eyes. "Actually, you'll get your vision back soon enough. This could have been prevented if you'd have just let us pass, but noooo. Pff. Let's go, Brittany." Arissa said.
The rest of the group were already flooding in through the door.
Zach stopped right behind Arissa. "Is everyone alright? Brittany?"
Brittany giggled. She was always giggling. "Zach. I don't think you need to ask that about me."
Zach didn't lose his serious expression. "Well, just don't... It was a gunshot. Really..."
Brittany smiled and turned around, following after Arissa. Zach sighed and jogged towards Brittany.
Hudson, Clark, and Brandon followed soon after.
The Surgeon was no longer shivering.
"Sir, just loosen... a little bit..."
Ivan nodded and barely opened his hand.
"Thank you... So what are you?"
"A Daeshektoan."
"... Is that some sort of African tribe?"
Ivan cocked his head. "What's African?"
The Surgeon seemed as if he had no idea how to answer Ivan's query.
The Police Officers were lining up at the door. One of them Ivan could see had a sort of weird bent non-sharp stick of metal. They were appearing to try and break the door handle.
Ivan rose from his surgery table(more of the chains snapped) and stood firmly. He had to slightly bend his head because the ceiling was too low.
The door shook for a few seconds, and moments later a large crack sounded.
The door was pushed open and little people streamed through the open passage.
"Little people. Hmm."
Ivan noticed that each of the little people had strange black shiny things in their hands. They were raising them as if warding Ivan with them.
The little person in front of Ivan was the first to speak. He looked like their leader.
"Mister Giant, put down the Surgeon now. Put him down or we will be forced to shoot you."
Ivan chuckled and dropped the Surgeon. The Surgeon, as soon as he touched the ground, gasped for breath. "He was choking me!! He asked me for his sword!!"
The Officers nodded.
"Now, Mister Giant, put your hands behind your head."
Ivan laughed deeply. "Give me my sword."
The Officers began trading glances with one another.
Then, the lead Officer slightly perked his head and repeated:
"Mister Giant, do as we say. We aren't allowed to give you back your weapons until you've had your trial. Now put your hands behind your head before we have to use force."
Ivan was confused. What was putting his hands behind his head going to do.
"I don't care if you have other things placed. Give me my sword or I will do nothing you say."
The Officer shook his head. "I'm sorry, pal. Fire now!"
The room was athunder in a matter of seconds. Smoke and sparks were spreading in the room madly while the noise of bullets striking metal rang clear amidst the chaos. None of the Officers could keep an eye on Ivan, they couldn't see through the smoke.
"Cease fire!"
The Officer waited for the mist to clear, but when he could see clearly, he saw that the giant was still standing. Unharmed whatsoever.
"Wh-... What in God's gracious name..."
Ivan laughed. "That tickled like the strange very thin sticks that they were poking me with earlier."
The Officers all lowered their guns and looked at his feet where bullet shells were clustered like a scatter of coins.
"What... on this holy Earth... Are you...?"
"He's a Dragerok." Arissa shouted, gliding into the room, the rest of the team behind her.
The lead Officer turned around and stared at her. "You... Are you working with him? Men! Call the state police station! We need back up NOW! Wait... Are those... teens..?"
Brittany laughed, backing into the door. Everyone else shrugged.
Hudson came forward. "Actually, sir, we're really sorry to be breaking the law... if this is breaking the law... But we need to get our friends back."
The Officer's face exploded as if out of his mind.
"Friends? Who are your friends in this place?"
Zach chuckled. "Basically, the new addition of all these weird people."
--from the distant jail cells--
Kaiser heard someone say "the new addition of all these weird people."
Drawing in all of his breath into his lungs, he shouted "I'M NOT WEIRD!!"
--from the jail cell across from Kaiser--
"Yes you are, Kaiser. :D" said Theodore.
--back to the Narrators lol--
The Officer blinked. Pausing, as if taking in what happened, he blinked again.
"You.. know ALL... of those... people...?"
The entire group nodded. Brittany was more enthusiastic, though.
Ivan laughed. "I don't know them, actually. Well that girl is familiar." Ivan pointed to Brittany.
Brittany waved ferociously. "Hi Ivan! :3"
Ivan waved back with a huge smile. "Hello strange girl! :D"
Arissa slightly laughed and shrugged.
"Officer, I'm afraid we have to take this situation into our own hands."
The Officer shook his head. "Oh, no. We've had enough chaos for today. You and your WEIRD friends are not leaving this place without justice!"
Ivan, seemingly fed up with this little person, bonked the Officer on the head with his fist making a dull "Thud". The Officer seemed confused for a second. He tried to speak, but it seemed he couldn't. And with a roll of his eyes, he collapsed unconscious.
Brittany began a storm of laughter. Zach turned to her and hissed "Why are you ALWAYS laughing? Nonstop!! Just... stop it PLEASE!! You're REALLY.. REALLY scaring me!!"
Brittany smiled. "I know. ^^" she cooed.
The other Officers were suddenly in a bustle. They all pointed their guns at the Narrators and loaded each bullet.
Arissa shook her head. "Oh, no you don't."
As they all pulled their triggers, Arissa snapped her fingers and the bullets dropped harmlessly from the gun barrels.
"What in--"
Arissa then clasped her hands together and seemed to slightly jerk with energy. Breaking the connection of her hands, she outspread her arms and a blast of dark waves emanated from her fingers. The waves of energy pushed against the Officers, sending them all flying back against the wall. Ivan slightly stuttered. Arissa laughed and whipped around. "Alright, hurry! Out, out, out!! We have to be quick and get everyone out! I'll try to distract the State police really quick. Ivan, go with them."
Ivan seemed confused at first and nodded, following them.
As the group retreated from the room, Arissa quickly grabbed the walkie talkie the lead Officer was speaking into and closed her eyes. When she opened them, she spoke into the walkie talkie in the voice of the lead Officer.
"We're sorry for the previous emergency call, it's been solved. No need to send reinforcements."
Brandon coughed as they were walking through the numerous jail cells. Every one they passed, they would look inside and check if the person within was a character or not. After they passed several, they finally paused in their tracks.
Zach was the first to speak. "Alright, so they aren't anywhere over here. Where else can we check? Are they in another jail or something?"
Brandon shook his head. "No, they probably just have a higher security level somewhere. Who knows. We need to check more of the building out first."
Hudson nodded, Clark nodded too as he was tapping on the walls. Tum-da tum tum-da tum da-da tum-tum.(lol happy song BANG)
Zach smirked. "Well, we also need to find where their weapons are being held. May--"
Arissa seemed to glide in out of nowhere. Standing next to Brittany, she raised a hand to pause Zach.
"I know where the weapons are being held."
Zach sagged. "Ugh. You seem to know everything, and you hardly tell us anything until it's just when we REALLY need to know it."
Arissa laughed. "Pff, don't worry. I'll grab the weapons. They're somewhere near the confiscation lobby. The cells are over that way--take a left, go up the stairs, go right and you'll find a really big steel door. It has a card key slot. Take this card key and it should let you inside. Every cell that the characters are in has a special combination that you need to type in to unlock the door. I wrote the combinations for each specific cell on this paper. Take them with you and hurry. If you find anyone, Ivan should knock them out. If something happens to Ivan, Brittany can just call for me. Good luck."
Dun ba-da-da BANG BANG BOOM Tss-tss!! Pr-r-r-r-r-r-BANG
Arissa glared at Clark and handed the said items to Brittany, then she quickly spun around and began pacing the other direction. Zach shouted though, pausing her, "Arissa, how do you know all of this?"
Arissa turned her head around to stare at Zach. "I checked a map. And I found the combinations and key card in the officer's pocket. Just use your head."
Hudson laughed. "It helps.
Brandon made a funny face at Zach.
Zach paused. Brittany giggled.
They all left.
Anything more to say? Lol.
(to be continued)
