Well, here I guess uhh.. Uhh...
It's the Writer's Den. Uhh..
Well I suck at writing, but I like making up ideas.
Even if they suck.
But oh well. :l
I'll use this area as a brainstorming thing. I usually have different things saved on different comps, so by combining them all in one big thread thingy I'll save myself a lot of... well... crap.
So yeah.
Uhh.
....
Hold off on comments pl0x, I like keeping posts together. It gets awkward when I have one brainstorming post at the front, then two pages later is the next, two pages later again, four pages later, and so on. It gets awkward. I'm a neat freak. :3
Anyway,
uhh. I'll post... brainstorming.
And note, for me--brainstorming isn't more of actual WRITING a story,
my way of brainstorming is simply writing down names.
In my head, I connect ideas to names--that's how I remember most all of my crap. Thirteen books really get hard to remember unless you have a good way of doing so.
So uhh...
And I'll try to update some actual essays on the races in Aldraa'Norrech. And uhh... Stuff..
Though I'll be honest, the site's storyline is slightly crooked from where mine is, but that's fine--and I like that it's creative. Besides my storylines suck for RPs. >.@ I'd have to type like 25 pages for ONE POST. And that sucks. Hate doing that...
... ENOUGH TALKING, time to post some crap.

Daughter of Nicodemus Exavior, the late king of Raoro. Turned to stone by a shadowmage during the Rose Massacre, she was dormant for quite a few weeks. Since Dameus, her younger half-brother(not known at the time), was gone, she took up the throne as the new queen of Raoro kingdom. She tends to wear burgundy, red, and little green every day. She seldom enjoys wearing skirts, dresses with long sleeves are her most favorite swathing. A near perfect face, and very shy personality, she makes a mediocre queen with mediocre qualities, but as time grows on she realizes that she's leading a force of a nation that could be the one push leading humankind in the right path of victory. Later, after her title of queen was bestowed, she takes up fighting with a dagger and a staff. No extraordinary or uncommon abilities, she has little power by physical force, but her courage and golden heart are more than enough to make up for that.

Daeshektoan (Dragerok) Synopsis:
(Located in The Dragon’s Jaw)
Synopsis: The name Dragerok is derived from observations of the Dragon’s Jaw when villagers from Ta’Dao would witness giant humanoid silhouettes “dragging-a-rock” up the mountainside. As time grew on, the stereotype for these silhouettes became Draginrock and later shortened into Dragarok then into the most recent form, Dragerok. The silhouettes frightened the humans as they resembled giants. Inventing myth and lore, humans told that the giants were mythical and that they would drag rocks into their mountain to crush the muscles and bones of human corpses to feast upon. Drageroks were the first to outside influence to impress on human legend, inventing the myths of “giants” and “big-foot” ( large footprints would often be located near the mountain’s entrance, human-resembling feet that were large enough to contain near the full volume of a filled bucket of water).
Aside from human legend, Drageroks are a peaceful and friendly people. Their hearts are most times larger than their massive heights, deeply filled with spiritual pride. Their actual names they call themselves are the Daeshektoa [day-shu-keht’owah]. Daeshektoa means “Good strong friend” Dae derived from their word Daekoto which means strength, Shek derived from their word Sheko which means good-feelings, and Ktoa derived from Oktoa which means friendly person.
The Daeshektoa are tribunal, keeping together in small ethnic groups. They live in a natural grotto within the Dragon’s Jaw which holds the keys to their homey habitat. Daeshektoa require a very warm, sweating-hot temperature to feel comfortable. About 100˚ is their most comfortable temperature. Daeshktoa enjoy festivals. Dancing is the same thing as a sport to them. The dancers revolve around fires and sing folk-songs. Many Daeshektoan legends are made into songs, most of which tell of how the mother of the mountain gave birth to they, her kin, and how the father of the fire raised their hearts to tell of great stories and sing great songs. Dance is also tradition for it is believed the sun and moon are clasped in their own “dance”, competing for their time of day. Daeshektoan dancing is so highly beloved in fact that the Daeshektoa believe that whoever dances with the most grace will be reborn as a star when they pass on into the river of spirits.
The Daeshektoan anatomy is easily different compared to other humanoid compositions. The male Daeshektoan naturally grows up into 7-9 feet in height. All male Daeshektoa have a strong build of muscle by the age of five, whereas they are five feet tall. Each male develops a full build of muscular strength by the age of ten, where they reach the height of seven feet. The age of maturity for male Daeshektoa is fifteen, where they reach full height and full strength. Males do not wear protective armor over their chest, which is always bare. Daeshektoans are said to be dishonorable if they wear armor to protect their front-skin. Males refrain from wearing armor on their chest or knees, though they do wear tassets and sometimes wear protective arm gear (brassards). Daeshektoa males have such hard-developed skin on their chest that puncturing their chests with a steel blade most times does nothing but bend the steel. Their skin is rock-hard.
Daeshektoa females grow to a natural height of six-and-a-half feet. Their muscle build is not as large as the male Daeshektoan, but they are strong and flexible enough to force their hand six inches into a tree trunk by the age of 10. The female Daeshektoa can be considered more lethal than the males as they have extremely flexible speed and accuracy with their fists.
Daeshektoa males fight with swords as tribal custom. It is believed that when you die with your sword, a part of you is imbued in its steel—which is why most Daeshektoan blades are salvaged and kept under extremely tender care. The highest Daeshektoa honor is to die fighting with the blade he forged himself. The battle of a sword is considered its own dance, hence the best Daeshektoa warriors are said to be reincarnated into stars because of their grace with a sword.
Daeshektoan females do not enjoy fighting with swords as their fists are more agile and precise compared to the edge of a blade. Yet again, the female hand-to-hand combat is considered its own dance, and the best dancers become the stars in the night sky.
Since their birth, Daeshektoans have made swords. They seldom fight outside of their mountain, though sword fighting is practiced (believed to be another kind of dance). They make swords for ornamental reasons. Swords are traditionally beloved in their eyes for they believe it to be an instrument of balance, not power. Swords for a Daeshektoan are like tools. Also, since some Daeshektoan ore is derived from the rocks within and outside of the mountain, Daeshektoans use different swords and instruments like humans use pickaxes. A kind of Daeshektoan dagger (three feet in length when compared to a human and considered a pocket knife to all Daeshektoa) is called a Kindo. Kindos are used commonly for celestial practices and dances.
The sacred metal invented by Daeshektoa is called Ebonite. It is created by smelting ebon ore with silver ore and steel. It creates a very, very sturdy and hard-to-bend metal.
Daeshektoa blades are specifically designed large and wide. Average swords are six feet in length and nine inches in width. The hilt is forbidden to reach above the length of a foot-and-a-half; it is considered a dishonor because the blade’s beauty is taken aback when the hilt takes up too much space.
Magnus Ignacious is the chieftain of the Daeshektoa, his son Ivan Ignacious is heir to the honor. The Daeshektoan skin color varies from a rich tan to a light tan and dark brown to dark black. Hair colors vary from black (most common) and blonde (uncommon).
The most vulnerable weakness of a Daeshektoan is super-freezing spells. Fire does nothing to their skin as they are more adapted to hot environments. Daeshektoa have bodily temperatures that stay at 120˚ naturally, so temperature drops do not begin to affect them until it reaches below zero.
Daeshektoans share a love of smithing swords. The rocks found in the mountain of Dragon’s Jaw contain valuable and needed ore used for smelting Daeshektoan steel, which is why humans saw “Drageroks” hording stones from outside of the mountain. The material of their swords is strong enough that not even a falling boulder can scratch the metal. Daeshektoa can bend their swords if they have several partners helping.
A note on Daeshektoa weaponry is that when a Daeshektoan gifts you with a blade as a present it is of extremely, extremely high honor. Daeshektoa also believe it is hospitable to adopt humans into their families. Being extremely kind, they feel it an honor to take another humanoid under their own wings.
Daeshektoa also raise dragons in their mountainous habitat. Daeshektoans receive dragon eggs from the Dragooni and nourish them when they hatch. Dragons are as companions to the Daeshektoa, but they do not raise them after the first year of their lives. When the dragon is one year old, the Daeshektoa give the hatchling to the Dragooni where it is raised and taught intellectual wisdom as well as mental communication. After about five years the dragon is sent back to the Daeshektoa.
