((I can't stay on for much longer, but I'll at least start it))
Cambion walked through the campfires of the druidok camp. They were all in human form, except for the watchers on the edge of camp, who were disguised as various animals. So to the random traveler, it looked like any other camp with ordinary people in it.
Many druidoks greeted Cambion as he walked by, and he returned each of their greetings. He knew there wasn't one druidok there that would not gladly give his or her life for him and the rebellion. He was thankful to them for their loyalty. Every now and then, he would stop to talk to a few druidoks. It was important to maintain his image as a leader. He finally stopped at a nearby tent, where Dallben and another one of the elders, Zircon, were waiting for him.

ooc- *snorts with laughter* Zircon. Name him Zircon, code word Diamond. Please.
bic- Sebastian followed, more cautiously. His friend had moved at a quick pace, shifting constantly, and only now was the sorceror able to catch his breath. He nodded in greeting to the few he knew, and waited outside the tent as Cambion stepped inside. Sebastian Tora may have been a friend of the leader, but that didn't give him permission to eavesdrop.

"Hello, Cambion," said Dallben with his usual solemn look and tone of voice. "Greetings, my boy," said Zircon, who was at least seventy and had been an elder in Cambion's father's rebellion. Despite his age, he was very fit and one of the best fighters in the rebel group. Cambion nodded respectfully to both of them, "Greetings Dallben, Zircon." He went straight to the business at hand. "Have we successfully contacted the Gortek Empire, yet?" Dallben nodded.
"They have agreed to meet with us outside Maud, tonight. One of the Emperor's General's will be there." Cambion allowed himself a small, sly smile. "Good. However, that will give us little time. I trust that both of you are coming with me?" Both of the elders nodded. "Excellent. We'll leave in half-an-hour, then." Zircon suggested, "I recommend that, in the mean time, we move our main force to the edge of the Fabrith Empire, a few miles outside Issil." "Agreed," said Dallben. "Agreed," echoed Cambion. "Have we covered everything?" The other two men nodded. "Well, then, convey the news to the others and we'll meet in half-an-hour." He gave one last respectful nod to both of them and exited the tent.
Cambion approached Sebastian once he left the tent. "I'm leaving in a half-an-hour to negotiate the deal. You and the others will be moving to the edge of the Fabrith Empire."

Vague, Sebastian thought with amusement. A smile twitched on the edge of his pale lips, and his eyes glittered mischeviously.
"So specific, Cambion," the sorceror murmured. "The edge of the Empire where? As in, which post, direction."
He was pretty sure he knew, but that didn't stop him from teasing his friend. Sebastian was feeling unusually cheerful now, away from the human girl and the caravan. He was mildly uncomfortable among all the druidoks, but he was going to war soon. That was something he could look forward too.

Cambion rolled his eyes in frustration. "A few miles outside Issil, of course." He didn't feel as easy-going right now as Sebastian did. Raiding trade caravans was one thing. But this was assassinating one of noble lineage. It would be no easy battle . This Royal would be well guarded. He listened as Dallben shouted the news to the other druidoks. A cheer arose from them. Cambion, in spite of being nervous, smiled. This group, he knew, wouldn't fail him.

((If it's ok then, I'm gonna skip to half-an-hour later))
A half hour later.....
Cambion met Dallben and Zircon at the edge of camp. They each had a small pack of food, just in case. "Ready?" asked Cambion. They both nodded. All three druidoks changed into eagles, flying into the sky and out of sight.
((I'll go ahead and start a thread in Gortek)) ((note: I changed the meeting time to "tonight" instead of "tomorrow night". figured that didnt make sense))

((this is a few miles from Issil but still in the Raoro Empire))
It was nearly morning when they got back to camp. Cambion changed back to his original form, along with Dallben, Zircon, and the former prisoners. Cambion ordered food and drink for the lot of them, and as the three of them turned to the new additions to the rebellion (or so they hoped) to inform of the situation and ask them to join the rebellion, they could tell that they probably had naught to eat or drink in a long time. Before they could begin, the druidok Laurel ran up to them. "Excuse me, but I have a message for you Camb... Commander," noticing the hopefully soon-to-be recruits. It was customary for members of the rebellion to address Cambion as "Commander" in front of recruits, partly to teach the recruits respect, partly to show that they were organized, and a few other reasons. Any druidok (and Sebastian) who knew Cambion, however, knew that he didn't like the title. He felt it seperated him from those under his command, who were under his command voluntarily, and that it was too "human-like".
Cambion nodded to the group. "Pardon me." He followed Laurel out of the immediate area, hearing Dallben start the standard recruit speech on his way. Laurel told him exactly what Eilonway said she had heard. Cambion's expression turned to one of worry. "Thank you, Laurel. Tell her that I will meet her at the inn that we usually stay at in Alodale, and we will discuss this matter. The dream came up again in his mind, unbidden, causing him to shiver. Laurel ignored it, thinking it was understandable after the message she had delivered. "Yes, sir," she said. She flew away the direction she had come.
Zircon emerged from the gathering of recruits a few minutes later. "What is wrong, Master Cambion?" The "Master", of course, was meant to acknowledge his age, not his rank.
Cambion sighed. "I'm going to have to fly to Alodale, soon, Zircon. Can you explain to the druidoks what happened at the meeting?"
"I can and will," agreed Zircon. "But don't you need to get some rest, first?"
Cambion shook his head wearily. Until now, he hadn't noticed how tired he was. "I can sleep at the inn when I get there. By the way, can you explain to Sebastian, too? I'm sure he'll be curious."
Zircon agreed yet again. "Master Cambion, be careful when you go to such places without a guard. You must keep your guard up, as you should know by now."
Cambion nodded. "I'll be careful. Goodbye, my friend."
"Goodbye, friend." Zircon watched as Cambion flew away from camp. "You're so much like your father, Cambion," he said silently to himself. "And that's what worries me."
