((Hurm, well lets see if i can get anything going)) Skiestyrm launched off of Gwydion's shoulder and was the silver-grey moor cat before she hit the ground. She glanced back at Gwydion, her blind eye faceing him, and jerked her head to one side to indicate the direction she would be going, and if he wanted he could follow her. personally she wanted to get as far away from any magic junk so she chose a direction that would eventually take them the other way. then she turned and walked off, her nose constenly smelling the air and her paws silent on the ground.

((ok, thanks))
Gwydion followed her. He broke the silence with a question that had yet to be answered. "Uh, I think I understand why you and the other rangers and those other people are here, but I don't suppose you could tell me why I'm here, could you? So far, I've only been told that I'm of use to the rangers' guild, but I don't understand how. I mean, I don't know anything about Necromancers. I'm a mercenary. I hunt common bandits or murderers, not the supernatural." He felt a little awkward talking to a druidok. He wasn't sure if they thought like humans did. The thought crossed his mind that she might kill him if he said or did the wrong thing. His knowledge of druidoks was obviously very limited.

Skiestyrm sighed and changed into her human form. easier to talk to humans as a human, cat mouths where hard to talk through, the only harder was bird. She pushed what of her short dyed hair behind her ears as she could and then turned to him, her normal violet-blue eyes piratically blank in emotion. " I've been on another assignment for a while." She stated. while she had a good idea it fell under confidential, by saying that, she was not lying. she had been on another assignment, he just didn't get all the truth "Im sure Strider had a good reason for getting you, Blue-eyes. he always has one, a reason that is." she paused and then went off partially in her own little word "What is brought is known ahead, so what will pass is always dread."

Gwydion looked at her strangely. Was she hiding something? "What do you mean by that?" He was on his last nerve now. No one was giving him answers, but he bit his tounge and tried to be patient.

"listen, human, i dont mess with magic, dont like it, never have." Skiestyrm said her eyes focusing on him "I am about as in the dark as you feel you are. what i do know, if i told you, would break a promise and Strider could kill me for it and i dont feel like hiding from him." her voice was harding as she stared at him as unblinking as a hawk "my other understanding only comes from being in the guild, and its not much." She rubbed her almost blind left eye. "Be patient, trials brings enlightenment. hold you peace and we will see what it is this is all about."

Gwydion nodded. "Forgive me. I'm just frustrated." It seemed he had overstepped his bounds. Skiestyrm appeared to not want to kill him, yet. "So, what exactly are we to do when we find these Necromancers, or if we find them?" He was still walking, keeping his ears and eyes open.

"Kill them i suppose." Skiestyrm said blinking back at him"not that we'll do it before they get us more than likely." she cocked her head to one side "Are you scared of me, Blue-eyes?"

Gwydion kept himself from jumping at the question. "Uh, no. Of course not. Why do you say that?" He was partly thinking that, if he said "yes", she might give him good reason to be afraid of her.

"your words are hesitant and carefull." Skiestyrm said, looking Gwyndion strait in the eyes "your eyes are wider than they should be and your breathing is quicker than a light walk should have done." she sighed "sometime i wish i would have stayed in the forest you call Agrebach, gaurding the Golden city."

Gwydion, at first, blushed in embarassment at the truth in her words, but, when she mentioned guarding the Golden City, he forgot his caution. "You mean, you guarded the Golden City?"

Skiestyrm nodded "Ah, yes, we all did once. the twenty or so of us left after the Shadows tried to slaughter us all. But, no! the younger generation rebelled, and left the safety of the Pathless Wood, or so we call it. that is what it is, if you do not know who to ask, how to ask it, and the language to ask it in, then you can wander for years, thinking you are going strait, and end up on the edges again, as you started, "And now, they see what has come of it! they see why we stay in retreat! they are scorned for their difference, and allow themselves to be locked behind wood and stone! they forget they can cross-change and allow themselves to be ruled by the affairs of humans!" Skiestyrms voice was raising in anger and what almost seemed to be hate. her skin seemed to shimmer as if she was on the verge of changing into a different form. "Traitors and cowards! they have no sense of duty! only do i venture out of the Pathless Wood at my mothers request to see about the rebellion" she spat the word out as if it where a live coal "No need would there be for this if they had stayed where their rightful duty lay! "Trouble this will cause for all of us! fire will again be attempted to be set in the Pathless Wood! Again will we be caused to fight the flames! They forget now, and they attack us of the Woods, the Traitors of Race and Birthright! Oh, they see but still are blind to the Dark Dawn! to the Maddening Sickness that now holds them! Death will be their reward and He shall come for them, eager to claim all souls!" Skiestyrm had not said this much in a long time, nor ever in anger. "We are the second to fall, the dragoons where first, we are the next! It will come to all, even the dragaroks in their mountain caves and the proud Eleminkish in their own realm, nothing will be left of the land! only Grey Ash and prevailing sickness." Skiestyrm's voice was now ringing in angry passion, she paused to draw a breath and looked as if she would continue if she was let to do so, her eyes glaring in the direction of the druidok's rebellion camp. ((NOTE- all of the above is according to what i know of the druidoks from Josh, and what i think his would feel of the rebellion. Hudson, if you have changed any of this let me know so i can correct it. Also most of this is my characters feelings, not mine. ))

"Druidok rebellion?" Gwydion inquired. "But, they killed the rebellion leaders more than fifteen years ago. I thought they were done for after that. Sure, I've heard rumors the past few years about a new leader, but I thought that it was only normal for rumors like that to start about such a thing." He could see that Skiestyrm was getting angry but hoped she would suffer him a few more questions.

Skiestyrm took a deep breath to calm herself. "Even animals gossip, Blue-eyes, but a new leader, yes, that is true as far as I know." she thought for a moment "I would go and see for myself, but I cannot be made to accompany such low-life! Yes they are starting, and i hope their tails get kicked to!"

"But why not try to talk to them again? The new leader may possibly be more reasonable, right? They are your own race after all. Your family..." Gwydion felt a need to address the issue and hoped he hadn't gone too far. There is a fine line between trying to help and sticking your nose in someone else's business, and he was tring not to cross it.
