She clutched her head in her hands.
Midknyght chuckled to himself."You're cursed,"he lied to her."Can't you see?You're all alone.No one wants you.Not even the lowly humans.You're the last one and you always will be and no one and nothing can ever release you from your burden,TsuKariNiMae."
She laid there on the ground,just staring up at the ceiling.".....Link....."
"DON'T SPEAK THAT NAME!"Midknyght snapped, another scream of pain from the girl."He's dead and he's never coming back!They made sure of that."He said to himself confidently.
Kari could feel tears running down her face, but she felt too numb with pain to move.She felt as if she needed to rest, to sleep forever and forget about everything, the pain.But,what she truly needed was to see him...just one more time...
"Kari...." A gentle voice said.
She forced herself to look up. A man,about the same age as her, was standing there dressed in black to match the color of his raven-like eyes.He had a calm loving look in his eyes.
"Kari....Do you remember me?"he asked her.
She shook her head in reply.
"I'm your brother....Itichi.Your real brother."
" I have a brother?"
" Had would be the word."
"Oh.."
"Obviously you don't remember anything. I know why the crystals released my soul..."
"Why?"
"To help you ,my dear sister."
"With what?"
"Wow...you really are clueless....come with me..."He sighed and held out his hand to her.
Kari slowly stood and walked over to him and took his hand.She felt herself falling backwards into the lake into the darkness, bck into her memories.
