((No one person, whether in reality or roleplays, is immortal. And you can't pretend that every character you ever had will live forever or die of old age. Plot twists have to be thrown in somewhere.))

Sienna took the opportunity to escape through the trees, feeling truly fortunate to have escaped a boring interrogation.
"Now," she thought to herself, "Where should I go next?"

((And, yes, Sienna has a heart made of ice.))

((Link: Exactly!!!))
Kadaj noticed Sienna was gone and followed her scent. After finding her, he pulled out his katana and pointed it at her throat. His eyes were even a darker shade of red than before. His fangs looked more fierce than ever. He was in a rage now. "Speak now human, or you'll regret it!"
Tifa heard Zeren's voice. It took her a while to calm herself an then she called back, "Zeren, I'm over here!" She looked at Cloud's limp body and then at the perfectly split rock. Why didn't we heed Kakrikya's warning? she thought.

Sienna sighed and rolled her eyes.
"I fail to see why you should be so mad at me," she retorted, "After all, I technically have done you no harm."

Willow dropped from the tree a few yards away, wincing slightly upon impact. She grinned shakily at Kadaj, unaware of the recent departure.
"Sorry. Hard to keep up when your insides are shredded." The half-elf winced again, looking over the thief, then at Kadaj. She glanced over her shoulder towards Tifa's voice.
"What happened?"

Kadaj turned back to the theif as he said, "Tell you later." Then to the thief, "Are you with them? Tell me, now!" He pressed the katana harder against Sienna's throat, not yet quite enough to draw blood.
Tifa was still crying as she answered, "We were walking to the casle from Kakrikya's shop. I was yelling at him for something. We were ambushed, by Vincent's men, no doubt. They shot at me with their bows, but Cloud......... he....... stepped in front of me. He killed two and the vampire killed the rest. It's all my fault Zeren. I should have stayed at the healer's house!"

Zeren swung off Dapple and walked over to give her a reassuring hug. "It'll be okay, Tifa."

After a while, Tifa calmed down a little. "I just..... can't believe he's gone. He always protected us, all of us. What do we do, what can we do, now that he's.... dead?"

"'Vincent'?" Sienna said, not taking her eyes away from Kadaj's, "Is he the 'them' you're reffering to? I'm afraid I don't know anyone by the name of Vincent. Sorry. I guess you'll have to take your anger out on someone else now."

Kadaj cocked an eyebrow. "I never said his name. You obviously do know something." He held up her hand and pressed his blade against her wrist. "Don't tell me what I want to know and you lose your hand, then your other, then..... well, we'll see."
Tifa nodded slowly. "You're right." Changing the subject a bit, she said, "We better remove the arrows from him." She started to carefully remove an arrow.

"You didn't," Sienna said, pointing to Tifa with her other hand, "But SHE did. You're not very bright, are you?"
Sienna knew how unwise it was to tempt someone like this, but she didn't care. Even though her entire family was killed before her, SHE was spared. HER. The person who deserved to live the least. She was the one who truly deserved to suffer, not them.
