Uh...maybe. Willow moved further away, keeping a tight grip on her dirk pommel, her knuckles white and her body coiled, tense. "No answer. Give it your best shot, bloodsucker. I've put up with one for six years, I should be able to handle one like you."

"Oh yeah, since all vampires are exactly alike," he said sarcastically. That was unexpected. Another vampire? Kadaj shoved the thought aside. He grabbed Willow's collar and lifted her off the ground. "You don't want to make me angry, mortal. You saw what that boy did to Vincent's henchman. I've had a lot more experience than he has. So, I suggest you answer my questions, or I might have to use some of that experience."

"Do it then," she retorted, glaring back at him. "I'm in pain already, think you can do cause more pain than I've been putting up with for the last seven years?"

I can handle it. Willow was lying, but she didn't care. Kirian would get over it if Kadaj killed her. She snarled. "Do it," the half-elf spat at him, eyes flashing.

Kadaj dropped her and turned his back to her. "I would prefer not to, but I will if I have to. Tell me if I'm wrong, but I'd say you want revenge. Am I right, because I don't think you would try to help the man who tried to kill you?"

"Yes, Tifa should be fine." Zeren said "This healer is the one that fixed me when that stupied werewolf banged up my back." he took the knife and looked down at it. "This was the first one of the set."

"Hopefully, it won't be long until I get the other two. I'm going to wait until the vampire gets back. Then, we'll go to the 'hole in the ground' the henchman was talking about. That reminds me." Cloud took Renardo's corpse and slung it over his back. "I'll bury him somewhere while I'm waiting. Be careful Zeren. Vincent will be after you too." With that, Cloud left. He walked for about an hour after he left the healer's house and buried the dead murderer.
Kadaj was losing patience. After a while, though, he had supressed his fury. "Very well. I'll make you a deal then. If you help me and Cloud get something back from Vincent, I won't bother you, unless it concerns me or my task of course. Well?"

Zeren walked to the healer to see how Tifa was doing. He sighed and looked down at her still form.
"She'll be alright, Zeren." The healer said in a low voice. "She just needs to sleep." Zeren nodded.
"Yes, I sont know really how to feel about all this." He said "Its confusing." The old lady bobbed her head.
"Your back good still?" She asked. Zeren nodded. There where few words said between them. mostly nodds and shakes of the head to a short yes or no question. It was odd for her to start the conversation. "You'll go back then?" another nod.
"Just dont tell her about what happened. Or about what I did." He turned and walked out the front door, onto the street and drifted through town.

((well, Zeren said that he was going to see if his organization knew whats-his-name, so I guess you can either go through all that or just skip that part and come back and tell Cloud what you found out, or something else; whatever you want to do))
