Kadaj obliged and sank his fangs into Renardo's shoulder, draining the body of blood. Cloud made a digusted face at the sight and turned to Zeren. "Well, where do you think we go next? He gave us three hideouts, but Vincent might not even be at any one of those." When Kadaj had finished, he raised his head, licking his bloody lips. "Well no one asked me, but the 'hole in the ground' is the most likely temporary place in my opinion. I doubt he will remain in hiding for long."

"He's right." Zeren said, nodding "I will go to my Orgnization and see what I can find out about this castle lord. If you dont mind, of course."

She'd made it out while Zeren and Cloud were debating on where to go first. Somehow, the half-elf already knew which one; The 'hole in the ground'. Her bloody knife was still in her hand and she wiped it off with her cloak before sheathing it, making for the nearest stable she knew. The familiar scent of dust, hay and horses made her relax, but she knew it wouldn't be long before Cloud and the others noticed she was gone. If they sent Kadaj after her, she'd be doomed.
"Bareback," she decided, slipping a halter over the head of the nearest trail horse. The beast, chesnut brown in color with a short black mane and tail, tossed it's head and whinnied as Willow pulled herself onto it's back once in the front. "Let's go...hep." She gave the horse a kick on the ribs and it tossed it's head before bolting. "Come on..."
The hooves thudded metallicaly on the trail, and the half-elf urged it into a faster gait.

"Go ahead," Cloud said. "Oh, by the way...." He looked at Kadaj, who was in deep thought. "Do you still have that dagger you pulled out of me?" Kadaj produced it out of his cloak and gave it to him. Cloud gave it to Zeren. "Number three. Two to go." He looked around and noticed that Willow was missing. "The girl's gone. You want to handle this?" he asked the vampire. Kadaj nodded and left. Cloud resumed talking to Zeren, "What about Tifa? Will she be okay here, until you get back?"
Kadaj caught Willow's scent early on. He followed it at his full speed, which was fairly impressive, even for a vampire. Of course, he hadn't completely wasted his last thousand years. He eventually came to a stable. Hmmm, she was in a hurry, he thought. He followed her scent more and saw her on horseback. He stepped in front of her horse. "Where do you think you're going?"

Willow didn't tell it too, but the horse came almost to a dead stop, snorting in fear at the blood scent on the vampire. The half-elf winced, clutching her stomach, and whirled the horse around to face Kadaj.
"To find Vincent," she replied coolly, her eyes glazed with pain. It would be long before she had to find Kirian...This vampire was much older than her friend, she could tell by the speed at which he moved, nearly twice the speed of Kirian. It would take him seconds to kill her, if that. "Why, you got a problem with it?"

He snarled at her. "You know where he is, then. Come with me, if you want to live a little longer."

Either he was planning on killing her anyway, or he could smell the disease reeking on her, the disease Kirian had diagnosed six years ago. Willow swallowed.
"Fine." She blinked. "I'll come with you." She managed to get the horse to take a few steps towards him, her rebellious attitude simmering down. Kirian would be pissed if she got killed now.

Kadaj led her as fast as the horse could go to a place not too far way from the healer's house. "Get off your horse. I have some questions for you."

Willow sighed and dismounted, keeping one hand on the reins of the horse for a quick mount. This could turn deadly in a second, if all vampires were as strange as Kirian. She'd known him to go from calm interrogation a knife at the throat. The half-elf watched him carefully.
"What do you want? The longer we stand around.." She didn't finish the sentence, eyes fixed on Kadaj's fangs.

"I want to know why you're trying to find Vincent. I have my guesses, but I want to confirm them." He sensed something odd about this girl. He could smell the scent of decay around her. That was strange, but it wasn't just that. Something else........

"That's none of your business," she snapped, taking a step away and bringing the horse with her. "Don't mess with me. I know how to handle vampires." Her other hand was on her knife, her eyes on him still.
Kirian.
What now?

Kadaj laughed. "Oh, really, do you now? I don't think you would be threatening me, then. And, actually, that is my business. So, what's your answer?"
