Zeren knodded to Cloud. I'll take Tifa, you can take care of the man.
He turned and walked past Kadaj, not even flinching as most would when he passed. After he was out the door he rushed to the house of the healer, going as fast as he dared

As Cloud walked up the stairway, he heard Kadaj tell him, "Be careful what you say to your elders, human. Especially me." Cloud didn't reply and continued up the stairs. "I'll be back soon," he called to Kadaj. He went up to Renardo. Unceremoniously, he jerked him up to his feet and dropped him. Renaro, suddenly awake, caught himself. He gaped at Cloud in front of him. Cloud snarled at him. "You're coming with me." He motioned for Renardo to stand besie him, which he did without question. Cloud instructed him. "Now, you're going to follow me. Don't get out of my sight, or you'll regret it." He sheathed his katana, which had been out since his 'fight' with Kadaj, and ran out the door. Renardo followed him, staying at his side.
After they had ran for about 10 or 11 seconds, Cloud saw Renardo move his hand to his cloak. Cloud drew his katana and batted the dagger out of Renardo's hand. He hit him hard on his hand that the dagger had left with the flat of his blade. "Don't try that again or I'll take your hand off," Cloud threatened. Renardo saw the fire in Cloud's eyes and didn't try again. They finally caught up with Zeren, Willow, and Tifa.

Zeren had stopped by a door step and was talking to an old lady standing in a door way. she made a face at Cloud but waved Zeren inside with Tifa. After a few moments he came back outside.
"Sorry about that. She's picky about who she helps. Not to fond of werewolves." he glanced at Renardo "what you bring him for?"

"Questioning," replied Cloud. "He's going to tell us where Vincent's hiding." Renardo shook his head. "I'm not going to tell you anything." Cloud grabbed Renardo by his collar and held him over the ground. He walked over behind the cover of a tree and roughly held him against it. "If you don't, I'll make sure that you feel double the pain that Tifa felt," he said coldly. His wolf personality had somewhat grown since his phasing. He even looked more like a wolf, as wolf-like a human can look. Renardo laughed. "Double? You think you can do better than Vincent? Well, you might want to start practicing!" He continued laughing. Cloud threw him head-first against the house, making sure he was again unconscious. He turned to Zeren. "If you think you can watch him while I'm gone, then I'm going to leave and go back to that vampire so he's not chasing us on our way to our next destination. If you want, you can try your hand at him." He left for the house without waiting for a response.
When he got there, Kadaj was sitting in the hallway, back agaist the wall. He looked up as Cloud walked in. "Well, that was quick," Kadaj said. Cloud paced through the hallway, back and forth. "You were going to ask me some questions?" Kadaj nodded. "Yes. I think I know why you were chasing after him, but you seem to know him from past experiences. And what's with the large, empty sheath?" Cloud just decided to tell his story, leaving out his secrets and how he became a werewolf. He also left some of the minor details out. When he finished, Kadaj nodded again, slowly. "I think I understand." After a long silence, he said, "But you weren't bitten by a werewolf, were you?" Cloud didn't answer. "You were cursed, for losing your sword. Am I correct?" Cloud didn't anwer. "I'm going to take that as a yes." He walked to the door. "I have some important matters to attend to. I might help you with your search. I trust you allowed the man that was unconscious up here to survive so you could question him?" Cloud nodded. A shadow of a grin passed across Kadaj's face. "Good." With that, he left.
((Kadaj leaves for "A Much-Feared Possibility"))
Cloud returned to the healer's house and spoke to Zeren. "He went away as soon as I answered his questions. Said he had 'important matters to attend to'. But there's something that's bothering me. He knew that I was cursed, not bitten, but I didn't even hint that."

Willow had glanced at Kadaj on the way to Kakrikya's shop again, recognizing him immediately for what he was. It was easy, after spending so much time with Kirian. How many other freaks were running around? She wondered, stepping inside after Zeren. Now, she waited, to see what they had planned for her next. Briefly, she wondered if she could slip away without being noticed.

"Do you want me to leave?" she countered, watching him with narrowed, pale eyes. For some reason she didn't even know, the half-elf didn't trust Zeren anymore than he trusted her.

Zeren shrugged. "It dose not matter to me. You just seemed...on edge is all." He opened his eyes to look at hers, then sighed and looked away.

Cloud kept a close eye on Willow. He knew that she had led them there, but he still didn't trust her. He was silent, but kept a hand on his katana hilt, ready to intervene if a conflict arose.

"Cloud, if you want, I know where we can put him." Zeren said indicateing the still out of it Renardo. "it'll be safer than leaving him lying around."

"Okay. What place do you have in mind?" Cloud asked. He definitely didn't want Renardo to escape. The last thing he needed was another enemy to track down.

" The healer has a doungon room off the cellar. All members of the orginziation that i got that collor from have on off thier check points." Zeren said " there are chains and other things down there as well.." he sighed and looked to the floor.
"If you like I could try to get something out of him. Though I can say I am not proud of the fact that I can, but if he knows about the Orginzation that it will give me a great advantage over him. they are feared, and can do better than Vincint." Zeren spat out the words, laden with hate pain and old memories
