Rules for Oblivia Guild
*Posting Rules*
1.) No harsh/disturbing/provoking language on this site. We want all of our members to feel they are in a safe posting environment and there isn't anything to find that they dislike. This means cursing as well.
2.)No going way off topic on a specific thread/forum. That's why we have different boards.
3.)No name calling (noob, newb, idiot, loser, etc).
We would like to encourage others to come and post on this site. Words like that and such will not be tolerated at all. It takes one to know one.
4.)NO SPAMMING. This wastes tons of space and can get very annoying. Stupid Pointless Annoying Messages aren't taken to anyone's liking.
5.)NO PERVERSION. This should hopefully explain itself.
6.)No hateful remarks to others or fuming. This not only gets annoying and horribly intollerant, it can sometimes lead to very bad situations, remarks, and will not be tolerated whatsoever.
If you have something you want to fume about, you can talk to your hand. It isn't that hard, we know you can do it.
7.)Only Administrators are allowed to change/edit your classes, avatars, levels, etc. If you do this it will be taken off.
You can use your own custom avatars, but you MUST show it to an Admin first and let them approve. The only styles we will avatars that pertain to your actual class.
Also, all avatars must have a white/transparent background. This isn't too hard to do...
RUN YOUR CUSTOM AVATARS BY US BEFORE YOU PUT THEM ON YOUR PROFILE. If you don't have a custom avatar (that you have hopefully run across an Administrator), then don't worry. We have set avatars that WE, THE ADMINS will distribute to others depending on their classes. Otherwise, no editing your own avatars without running them across an Administrator, no picking your own avatar out of our avatar list, and no editing your levels or classes.
The Administrators will do that.
*Role Playing Rules*
1.)You can't be in two places at once. You couldn't in real life, could you? Exactly.
2.)You can't make your character ultimate. Yes, not even us, the Admins, are ultimate.
Everyone has a weakness.
DO NOT say something like "You can't kill me because I am something and I can't die unless you do." or ANYTHING like that.
YOU CAN DIE AND SAYING SOMETHING LIKE THAT IS ENTIRELY CHILDISH.
3.)You can't dodge everything that comes at you. You can't be that perfect like you might want to.
4.)If you are going to say something OOC (Out Of Character), than put your OOC post in either double parenthases [i.e. (())], double brackets (i.e. [[]]), or something that tells it's out of character (i.e. ooc: something rp:whatever you are going to rp post).
5.)Don't try and tell others what to do and such unless its something like "don't come here, my character is supposed to be alone". But if you're going to do something like that, be sure to keep it to a minimum.
6.)To role play you must have a class signed up for your character. This. If you havent asked for a class yet by Link, your role play post will be deleted/modded until you ask for a class.
7.)If you have an assigned class, you can't use a weapon or anything that is out of your wielding range.
For example, if you were a mage you can't use a sword/bow and arrow. You can only use your classes asset of weapons.
8.)Nothing like "And an explosion happens, I summon up a dragon, I open a rift and grasp the powers of many spirits and use them against you". Things that are...powerful and such like that are only even allowed to comprehend at the advanced classes. Otherwise, DON'T DO POSTS LIKE OR RELATED TO THEM.
9.)NO ONE HIT KILLS PERIOD. This should hopefully explain itself.
10.)No asterisks or any other form of symbol to incdicate action, please..It is so much easier to understand reading posts when it's written like a book.
