Kearen walked down the hallways and they came back out in the courtyard. She walked forward then stopped at the edge of a dizzying drop. "Down there." She said. there was a low rumble.
A huge gap dropped thousands of feet. an underround river met with the ocean creating a huge whirlpool. it spun in a dizzying manner.

"We can see it better from the crystal caves." Kearen said. She saw some one comeing 'Uh.." She grabbed Dire by the back of his shirt and pushed him over the edge to where his feet where still touching, but if she let go he would fall strait down. She started what sounded like chewing him out, but had switched to her laungage

Dire's eyes went wide as he dangled over the edge. He closed his eyes and waited. He was not a big fan of heights.

"Oh, hi Mother." Kearen said smiling at her mother who had walked up.
"He giving you trouble?' Her mother asked.
"Well, he's being a little onary, but i think i can knock it out of him." Kearen said. SHe pulled Dire back and threw him bodly to the ground. "We're working on it."
Kearen's mother smiled and put her staff blade underneath Dire's chin and raised it up. "hummph"

Dire kept eye contact with the woman, showing her he wasn't the least bit afraid of her blade.

"You have a lot of work to do." Her mother said. Kearen shrugged and sighed
"Well, im working on it, oh by the way can i have his weapon." Kearen said "i think he REAlY wants it back." Kearen's mother smiled and knodded. Removing her staff blade she teisted the handle and whcked Dire over the head. Kearen winced and blinked. Her mother walked off with out another word.
"Ehh, you okay Dire?"
