Here's an elaborate one that a boy or girl could try:
Go up to your target, take him/her by the hand, and draw a line on their palm, and a dot on one side. If they ask "What are you doing?" you say "This is a river, and this is a bunny trying to cross it." Keep this going with a bunch of cutesy details such as "the bunny gets tired" or "the bunny finds a bridge". At the end of all of this, if the target asks "And why did you show me this?" put on a sad-looking face and say, "I just wanted to hold your hand."
