"Here you are, dear," Kakrikya said, handing her her herbs, "You may go."

"Just a moment," Tifa said. She didn't budge from her post at the door. "We've got a few more questions to ask you. For one, what did he look like?"
"We're ready," the man said. "Let's go." He and two of the others came from their hiding places and crouched under each of the shop windows, ready to leap into the shop as soon as the signal was given.

Kakrikya's servant spirit, having been hidden, jump into one of the assassins' bodies and, taking control of it, began to attack the other men in the group.

Willow stood, taking the herbs, and turned to find Tifa blocking her way. Annoyed but patient, she shrugged. "He was cloaked. You don't think he would have let me see him, do you?" She pulled at the clasp on her cloak, and Dasuke nodded to the others just as the spirit possessed another in the group.
Dasuke swore under his breath and blocked the upraised blade of the assassin before making for the shop. There was a quick, easy blast of magic that caved the door in, the corner catching Tifa. The man rushed at her, knife out, eyes narrowed, then whirled.
Willow drew a sharp breath and dropped to her knees, holding the handle of the knife that was buried in her chest. Her eyes widened, and she shuddered. Dasuke, satisfied, turned to go at Tifa again, ready to snatch her up and run.

"Oh, no you don't!!!" Kakrikya threw a smoke bomb on the floor, which was set off and blocked everyone's eyesight. Kakrikya, having learned how to see through this fog, grabbed ahold of Tifa's arm and yanked her towards the back room.

Zeren's first reaction was to blink then he drew his sword. He listend and waited for the smoke to clear. Years of hunting werewolves had honed his sences and he waited for movement and noise. He could see Willow and grabbed her wrist and pulled her aginst the wall.

Tifa's parents, finally having awoken from the noise, were guarding the doorway of the back room, a fierce look in their eyes. Tifa, in the room, told Kakrikya, "Thank you. That was close, but we've got to take care of everyone else too."
The man that was the unofficial leader of the two men that had been momentarily possessed ran in, despite the smoke. He didn't make a sound, as he attempted to look through the clearing smoke. Finally, he glimpsed two figures. He silently crept towards them. Not one of the people they were looking for. He drew his dagger and gave them each a rap on the head, making them black out. He saw that they had been standing in front of a doorway. Hmmm, if I can start to see people, that means they may be able to see me as well, he thought. He decided someone was probably behind the doorway, and that person would most likely be one of the people they had been looking for. He crept into the room, hearing the two under his command run around the shop in panic. Fools! he thought.

"Yes," Kakrikya said, "But first things first." She poured a vial of blue liquid into a circle on the floor and sprinkled on some salt.
"I want you to stand in the center of this and concentrate on a safe location. Somewhere that you've already been."

Willow felt Zeran grab her and pull her back out of harms way, and she let out a small cry of pain. She could hear the shopkeeper speaking but didn't register it, and her eyes were beginning to glaze. The thief could see Dasuke moving through the smoke, headed towards the back room where Tifa and the shopkeeper had disappeared. She gasped, trying to catch her breath, and a managed a few words.
"Guard the girl, they want her," she muttered, pushing Zeran away with one arm and holding her chest with the other.

Zeren blinked and then grabbed Willows hand and placed a peice of cloth in it. "Hold that on you wound!" Then he dashed off tword where the back room would be. He saw Dasuke's form and swung his sword with a yell strait into Dasuke's shoulder.

Willow nodded and did as she was told, holding the cloth around the knife blade. She didn't dare take it out, until someone, a real healer, was close. Then Zeren was gone, and she rocked back against the wall, sighing.
Dasuke felt the hot pain and his blood spattered the floor, but ignoring it, he turned to engage Zeren. He was an assassin, and a mage, not a warrior, and he used his magical abilities at every turn he could manage. The room flashed with purple and white light, and the smell of singed flesh was on the air. Gritting his teeth, he shoved the fighter back with the flat of his blade, then swung at him once more.

Zeren yelped and then blocked his swing, sparks flying. "Ha! ive had a harder time with a three day old werewolf!" He yelled then counter attacked swinging his blade in a head paws pattern.

Tifa stepped into the blue circle and started to think about her home. Surely that was the safest place to be right now. Was it? Other thoughts clouded her mind. It was hard to concentrate on home when something like this was going on.
The man entered the room. There she was, the woman that they had come to get. But the shopkeeper was there two. He got out a smoke ball, something that would hopefully blind the shopkeeper. He threw the smokeball and then his dagger, the latter at the shopkeeper. He hit the younger woman hard on the head with his fist to knock her out. Without seeing the resultsof his dagger throw, he picked up the girl's unconscious body and left the room and ran towards the shop door. He saw Dasuke and shouted at him, "Come on, we're finished here."
((Dasuke and leader dude go to "Carrying Out a Threat" after Dasuke posts again))

"NOT SO FAST!!!"Kakrikya shouted, covering the dagger wound with her hand, "NOW!!!"
The servant spirit exited the body it had possessed and became a seal on the shop doors.

Dasuke nodded and hit Zeren one last time before disappearing into the smoke after his leader, blood dripping from a cut above one eye. The words came quickly, and seeing the glow at the doorframe, he released a bright ball of white energy, which slammed into the door. No seeable damage was done, and then Dasuke shot again, and the window panes fell out, shards of glass crunching under foot as he ran.
Willow made as if to stand, and the wave of pain sent her back to her knees. "Dasuke!" she shouted. "You son of-"
She broke off as another head-pounding wave broke over her. Then, he was gone.
