"Herbs?" Kakrikya said, smiling gently, "Of course you may have some herbs! What kind were you looking for?"

"Karkrikya..." Zeren said his voice betraying his nervosness.

"For cuts," Willow explained. She needed a back story, and maybe being Kirian's sheep would finally pay off. She pulled off one of the gloves she wore, exposing several deep cuts along her palms, slicings from a small knife. Kirian didn't bite her if he had a knife about, biting was 'unsanitary' he'd explained, and he only bit if he aimed to kill the person. Willow looked in Zeren's direction, eyes shadowed and a half-smile on her lips.

Zeren's mouth twitched breifly but he still watched her warly.

"Of course," Kakrikya said, "But, you must understand that at this shop, I don't charge money for items, but something else of equal value."

Willow saw the shadow of a smile on his face and relaxed slightly. Maybe he didn't trust her, but he would put up with her, for the time being. At Kakrikya's reply, the half-elf paused, as if in thought, then took down the pack she wore over her shoulder and set it on the floor before dropping to one knee to look through it.
She drew forth a vial of crimson colored liquid, a bundle of herbs tied together with the sinew of a fox, and several other items of interest. Among them was a silver charm, inscribed with a spell to ward off werewolves, and it hung on a chain of iron, whick kept Kirian from drinking to deeply.

Kakrikya examined the items.
"Pah!" she said, "I already have all of these things! I require something much more suitable then these."

Well. This was going to be fun. How did she get vampire blood? Willow thought, then shook the thought away with a shrug. The last thing she had was her knife, made by her elven grandmother years ago.
It pained Willow to part with it, if this picky shopkeeper was going to take it, but with a half-sigh she set it on the table. The handle had an intricate design, made of a mix of iron, steel and bluerite, and the blade itself was made of a lost metal Willow didn't know the name of, and there was a swirling vein of silver through it. Balanced to throw as well as made to fight in close combat, it was well polished and sharpened.

Kakrikya shook her head, smiling.
"How about this?" she said, "In exchange for the herbs you desire, you must tell nothing but the truth for the next 24 hours."

Zeren smilied, shook his head, and then returned his sword to its sheath. Kakrikya was handling this just fine

Hah! Kakrikya's got her cornered. Good idea! Tifa thought. She put the arrow back in her quiver and lowered her bow, with a mischievous smile on her face.

Willow shrugged casually, but her heart was pounding. "Fine," she said coolly. Does she intend to keep me here for that long? There was no going back now. If she tried, she knew the girl with the bow, or the one with the sword could cut her down before she even reached the door, sooner. "Ask away, ma'am." No sense in being impolite.

Tifa cut in and started interrogating her. "First off, why are you really here? Because I don't think you came in just to get 'herbs'."

Willow was taken aback by this girl's abruptness. Tifa looked older than Willow, but not by much, and she wasn't really sure. She didn't blink in her answer. "Herbs is a reason I am here, but yes, not the only reason. I was sent." The women didn't say she had to give a straight answer right off. "I'll assume this shopkeeper doesn't mind you asking these questions, although I owe you no payment."

Tifa got an arrow out of her quiver again, but still didn't knock it. "Who sent you and why?"
