The world took focus again. His head spinning, Jaster almost dropped Kaina.
The view was incredible. They were apparently extremely high up in the mountains, and only one path stretched over a chasm to where they were. Nearby, a waterfall thundered as it rushed down to meet an unseen river lying below.
Locke put his hand on Jaster's shoulder and spun him around.
"Take a good look, kid. This will be your home for a while..."
The city was massive...or what was left of it. It was all in ruins, all except the wall which still stood. The castle rose in the back, pressed against the adamant rock wall of the mountain.
Above the gate, a faded symbol stood watching. Jaster could make out a tail and a wing, as well as some ancient text...
E...tr...i
The rest was faded, and would never be replaced.
"Come, to the castle. We shall be safe there." Hurricane and Locke started walking at a brisk pace, leaving Jaster walking quickly to catch up.
They passed multiple houses and manors, all missing walls or roofs, some only recognizable by the foundation. This had been an amazing city, once. At last, they reached the castle doors. The same symbol was there, but in more grandeur: the other wing could be made out, as well as a head. It was a golden dragon, proudly engraved over the entrace to the castle, probably the symbol of this civilization.
"Who are you people?" Jatser could help but ask as they were inside, Kaina half asleep in his arms.
"We, and this small organization we make up, are known as the Oblivia Guild. Now rest up, there's a long day ahead of you tomorrow."
Confused but accepting, Jaster continued to walk around the castle and find a suitable room. He didn't want to put Kaina down.
Passing a large room that had to have once been a war chamber, Jaster walked up a flight of stairs and entered a small room. The room, surprisingly, was completely intact. A book still lay open on the desk, to a page about something called Aeronians and Vaapad.
Sitting down on the bed, he let Kaina out of his arms, and could finally relax after the very long, very confusing day.

"He won't know where we are, Hurricane." Locke remarked as they made there way to the large room Jaster had just passed.
"I know, and it's for the best. Not many know this area still stands." Sitting down at the large table that surrounded an ancient map, Hurricane motioned for Locke to do the same.
"Imagine, Locke. Centis once stood above this table, making plans with the mighty Zodack. Now we have the priveldge to find it and have the castle intact? Aeric selects well."
"Maybe too well," Locke commented, "for he spends too much time in what was once the garden, pacing around the fountains. I fear that he..."
"That he what? Is having doubts about our course of action? I am too, my friend. An alliance with the Observants is not easily made..."
"True. We had best get to planning..." Locke said, spreading out another map just as he had done so many years before, when the faces of TsuKariNiMae and Zeth Gurido had been peering over him, trusting him to guide them to victory.
