Link appears and find himself standing in front of a glowing shine about the size of a small house that is surrounded by tall trees that should have blocked out the sun, yet this was one of the most bright places he had ever seen.
Not bright in a blinding sense, but bright as in conforting and powerful at the same time.
The feeling..it's tugging me in toward the shrine
Link walks into the glowing temple and walks toward the presence he is feeling.
"Who has brought me here?" Link asks, looking around but seeing nothing.
[glow=yellow,3,300]You have been brought here for a purpose, Hero.[/glow] A vioce says, and the light seems to grow and shrink with the tone.
[glow=yellow,3,300]Destiny has led you here to inherit your birthright, to gain power to defeat the evil that wiped out the Dragoons so many ages ago. Yet you will need the partnership of another to overcome this evil. Find the one who you have called a friend for all your life, and bring him here. But, before you leave, take the sword that is in the pedestal.[/glow]
The voice seems to fade, and Link notices two pedestals one either side of the shrine.
One holds a rapier and the other a ornately decorated widesword, both blades seemed to be made of solid crystal.
"I suppose the vioce meant this one.." Link said as he walked over to the crystal rapier.
Link easily pulls it out of the stone, and admires the carvings and runes embedded into the hilt.
[glow=yellow,3,300]A weapon of pure light, capable of banishing any shadow.[/glow] The voice says, appearntly back.
[glow=yellow,3,300]It is known as the Sol Sword, one of the two most powerful light wepons ever forged. But it may not be enough for the evil you face, if you choose to go alone. Heed my words, and step warily. Allies could become enemies. The true power of the sword is unlocked with a battlecry. The words will come to you when you need them. Do not fear, and may the light always shine in your path.[/glow]
The vioce disappears again, seemingly gone this time.
"Another..to weild the other sword. But who....a friend I have known all my life..? I've had many friends..I'll have to think this over.."
Link walks over to a rock, sits down, and begins to think.
