We were alone... Brushing my face clean of the ashes and warm dripping blood, I turned towards my brother with cold eyes. He was collapsed, his eyes still open, but his breath beginning to fail. Smiling falsely, he reached and grabbed my hand. THe flames were nearly upon us as the house began to burn, it was the day we would die. We were the only ones left... We were all that this world had yet grasped. Hoarse and shakily, he spoke words to me in a hush of murmurs. "Are we going to die?" I didn't know what to say. What could I say? Yes, we were going to die... Us, what was last of the Exaviors... Dameus the second and I, Marissa... Our father died by blade, our mother by Black Mana... And us, by the fires of the world's end... I then, after considering everything, turned to him with a half smile too. Speaking with what words were left within me, I gripped my young brother's hand with both of mine. Gathering the last breath I thought I would take, I spoke as sincerely to him as I ever had... " It's The End..." |

Twilight Crisis Epilogue: The Wedding((NOTE: IGNORE THE VERY VERY VERY ending of "Twilight Crisis Epilogue: The Wedding", when it has the three ending saxaphone notes that sound strange and take away from the actual beauty and meaning of the song. I just thought to warn since it always disturbs me when I listen to it.))
