Skyz corrects himself "I could be wrong. This wreaks of ancient Pirate directional magic. It is probably an ancient pirate guild, so to speak."

"You are correct" the captain said "this map is ancient, passed down by generation after genaration of pirate societies, always finding its way into the most elite group of pirates in existance at the time, now as far as this goes, there is good news and bad news, the good news, this will lead to quite a bit of treasure and fame, the bad news, all that treasure and fame is guarded by an elite warrior society"

After the speech the captain led John below deck. "Look boy" the captain said "Ive seen you fight, its impressive, but i have a feeling that if i take you to where we're going ill be sending you to your death, you're powerful yes, but wild, and your abilities to defend yourself against enemy blows could lead you to your death, you need to add another dimension to your fighting style" and with that the captain kicked a large box towards John. "Well" said the captain "Go ahead, crack it open"

John slid the blade of his axe under the lid of the box and pried it open, the lid broke off with a thunderous crack, revealing the contents, the largest bow John had ever seen, with a quiver of arrows of proportionally giant size. John picked up the bow and quiver, strapping them both onto his back. "I cleared out a target range for you down here" said the captain pointing to a large cleared portion of ship that ended in a box with a red circle painted on it. "Practice while we travel, you'll need all the skill you can get when we arrive"
