((sure, im not exactly sure where this is headed, but you can if you want)) John sat in the local tavern, quenching his thirst. All around him, merry sailors drank and sang, he listened to their happy tune, and ordered another drink.

Time passed, and the pirates drank round after round, and the pirates steadily grew rowdier and rowdier, eventually their cheerful songs had turned into slurred shouting and their playful shoving had turned into a sloppy series of disconnected and senseless fistfights among the pirates.

The sailors "fun and games" continued, getting more and more vicious, until the entire tavern was one giant mass of wrestling and kicking pirates. John left them well enough alone, until one launched one of his friends on to johns table in the corner, sending John's drink clattering to the floor.

John stepped up and walked up to the pirate who had broken his table, and grabbed him by the collar of his ragged shirt, "excuse me" he said as he yanked the pirate backwards "you upset my drink, I believe you owe me a fresh one" "eh?" said the pirate, obviously to drunk to comprehend right away "i dont owe you anything" he said after a while. John lifted his grip from the pirate's shirt, and reached for his axe. "i beg to differ, kind sir" John said

John began to slowly remove his axe from its somewhat-concealed position on his back, as he continued to speak to the pirate. "Im sorry, friend, but i cannot abide your rude behavior, either reimburse me for the drink you ruined, or i will go about extracting the money from you personally.

Skyz enters the tavern after seeing a man fly through a window and almost soil his cape. As he opens the door it is abruptly shut by two men, one pushing the other into the door with a mop. His sword quickly stabs the both of them through the door, using the door to clean the blade. he walks in and sees the only two men in the room not fighting are his old companions from the Astern Chapel incedent. Skyz mutters a alarm spell to notify him of all things dangerous coming at him and calmy walks across the room to sit with the unarmed pupil. "What was yo" His sentence is cut off by the ringing of his spell. He jumps to his feet and holds his sword straight out in front of him as a bottle of brandy falls to his feet. 'I need a weaker protection spell.' he thinks. "Terribly sorry about that. What is your name?"
((Mind if i join as well?))

((i dont mind at all, feel free)) John stepped over the pirates filling the floor over to the one who had created the problem in the first place, he retrieved a small satchel full of coins from the man's pocket, and bought himself another drink.

I'm gilder a young pupil in training learning magic that some would call "questionable", but i'm quite proficient. My skills far surpass that of many other mages.
