((sorry didnt realize you had knocked on the door yet)) "enter" the captain said gruffly, as the door opened and matthew and gilder entered, the captain kept his gaze focused solely on the chart he was deciphering, "What" he asked "did you want"

"as well as can be expected i suppose" said the captain "this map is old, many of the landmarks dont exist anymore, its going to be hard to find anything from it" the captain said "But you can count on one thing, as soon as i find where this leads, we're heading off for it"

((mine is about 25 by this time)) Skyz shuffles around on deck waiting for the trio to come back from the captains quarters. He leads the men to clean and restock the canna=ons and put the new gunpowder in the powder room. ((Again left me behind. If im not on just say i'm coming along with you.))

((sorry...again)) "In the mean time, hows about you boys clean all that stinkin' pirate blood of the deck of my ship" the captain said with mock politeness "and be quick about it, the last thing i want is for that stuff to dry, itll turn my ship into one giant scab"

The captain sat in his quarters looking over the ancient map, he reached onto his book shelf and removed a book concerning ancient lore. He flipped through the book, and after finding nothing closed it and returned it to the shelf. This sea chart was strange, unlike any he had seen before. He turned the map around several times, attempting to find any clues to deciphering it.

John steps out onto the deck and retrieves another mop and bucket to help out. "i cant beleive that old man forced us onto his ship and now we have to clean it" John grumbled

John continues to mop, kicking scattered bodies off the deck of the ship, the fragrant mixture of blood and water drips off the side of the ship and into the salty ocean along with the floating bodies

"Agreed" John piped up. he continued mopping, the deck was far from clean, scattered pirate bodies still littered the deck. Meanwhile, in the captains quaters Batista was still studying the map, he studied a book about the travels of ancient mariners, he had identified several of the landmarks listed on the map, and was working hard to ascertain their modernday locations
