"Ah." said Dire, not really understanding but not wanting to seem stupid in front of her. He cleared his throat. "Well then... I hear that Anvil has some beautiful scenery this time of year. Although it is practically ont he other side of Cyrodil."

The Commander surveyed the land around him, and smiled. A small band of merchents were travelling a small mountain road. They had about thirty men in total, twenty of which were most likely guards. He had taken the remnants of his army and set off in search of Lan. The Commander would not stop until he had killed Lan. And when he did he would make sure it was painful.
He made a swift chopping motion in the air and arrows shot out from hidden notched in the cliffs face. All of the guards fell, and only five merchents remained. The Commander jumped down and whirled his chain sythes, decapitating all five of the men in one swing. His army advanced from the cliffs. He still had a powerful force, seventy five footsoldiers, twenty pike men, and forty archers and crossbowmen. The time had come to bring destruction to Lan's world.

Sirge and his band of rogues rode through the valley pass, his four companions shifting nervously on their mounts. This part of the mountains had recently become notorious for bandit attacks. The problem was, to get into Cyrodil, this was the only way in through the mountains. His party consisted of him and four other rogues, two of them lancemen, one a sworsman, and the other a thief who used an odd wepon he called shuriken. None told their names, but he was known as Sirge. He was raised in a farming village on the other side of cyrodil. When he was young, bandits attacked his father while he was working the fields, and killed him. His mother had died during childbirth. He was found by a grizzled old war veteran who was running from the law. He had been falsely accused for a murder.
Suddenly a horn sounded to his right, and maybe thirty arrows shot out of the woods and struck their horses. Sirge jumped off right before an arrow burried itself in the saddle. He glanced around. All of his companions were slouched in their saddles, arrows protruding from their chest's and backs.
