Lan looked at Anasa "What was that?"
He took a sword out from a clip on his back.
Following closely behind Anasa, ready to ward off anything that might want to hurt them.

Suddenly, an image flashed through Anasa's mind. A girl her age...she was practicing archery. She looked up and smiled at her.
"Want to try?" she said. Anasa nodded and tried to draw the arrow back.
"No, not like that!" she said, readjusting the arrow, "There!"
Gulping, Anasa let the arrow go, and it landed a few feet in front of them. The two started laughing.
"Arissa..."Anasa stood up straight, then sprinted off down a red hallway.

Arissa growled slightly as it seemed the only thing these creatures undersood. One poked its head around the corner and barly missed the things head and stuck in the wood panaling behind it. Arissa counted her stock of arrows. 15 left not conting what she jokingly called "firebird arrows". they ethier exploded when they hit a target or burned the desierd object, they where the result of a expieremt that her and Anasa's teacher thought up.
suddenly an idea came to her. Arissa rinked her nose whail the idea would bring Anasa running it would also get her turend into a temporary ice block by Anasa's favorite spell. Consitering her options she sighed, Arissa had been frozen before and live through it.
Gathring a breath she yelled as loud as she could "FAIRIES ARE STUPID!!" and now I wait she thought.

Anasa narrowed her eyes when she heard that remark. "WWwwwwwhhhhhaaaattTTTTTTTTTTTT?  ?" Suddenly, she broke into a run twice as fast as before and soon caught sight of a girl her age, looking at her mockingly. (Or at least that's what she thought at the time.) "How dare you insult the fairies??" she demanded, "KAKRIK!!!!!" |

Arissa being ready for this said just befor the spell reached her" Just jokin'" smiling brodly as the spell hit her and she toppled over,compleatly frozen causing the ice to crack.

Lan had just caught up to Anasa "hey what wa-" he stopped when he saw another young girl frozen on the ground and Anasa standing there looking around furiously.
Lan muttered under his breath "Ta elThaack Mn" And the girl instantly unfroze.
"What was that about?!" he shouted at Anasa, knowing she was the one who froze the other girl. Lan took off the tunic he was wearing (its only the top, like a shirt, yea, I now what you want it to be but, tough.) and draped it over the shivering girl.
He turned on Anasa. "What the [profane word of your choice here] did you do?"
He plucked the knife out of his belt and threw it through the air. It contacted skin with a *thunk*
The goblin that had been holding a dagger ready to attack anasa fell to the ground.
He thought to himselfoh great, now the great hall is against me. Who did he warn about the army when everyone seemed to be turning against him?
He walked over to the dead goblin and withdrew the dagger from between its eyes.
He wiped it on his pants and turned again on Anasa.
"Care to explain??"

Arissa shrugged of the tunic and threw it a Lan. "I know why. i insulted fairies. burr i forgot how cold being frozen feels It's o.k though, I prefir that than being slammed into a wall."
turning to Anasa, while picking ice-crystals out of her long brown braid and amusement in her emrald green eyes,she said " Hay, Anasa how are you. What other thing have you frozen?"

Lan was busy untangling his tunic from his face, while the girl was talking to Anasa, he decided it was best to leave her alone for now. I mean come on, touchy.((lol had to say that))
She apparently didn't like or accept help. He shrugged on his tunic and drew his katana, he called to Ta' and she stepped out around a corner. he kept watch for any more goblins while the girls talked.
