The Tentacle slithered away but a second one swiped at Ivan sending him flying across the room making him tumble across the stone floor. Arrisa barely dodged the tentacle which now was rising to strike another blow became filled with arrows and spun wildly in the air and bursted into flames. Ivan heaved up blood as he got up.He limped to his sword and was barely able pick it up.As another tentacle slamed down almost hit him but the splash of debris sent him flying back.

"Gah!" yelled Ivan as he tumbled onto the floor once more he was going to possibly lose this fight but he wouldn't go down with out one. Ivan Charged for the Altar Dodging The Tentacles as best as he could. Arissa noticed Ivan's stupidity in charging towards the Altar but she gave him supportive fire,when ever a tentacle hit the ground she striked. But at this rate her quiver was almost empty.Ivan Rolled out of the way as a Tentacle came crashing down right before the steps to the altar.

The tentacle lifted and Ivan dove for the altar. He got to his feet and his eyes affixed upon Drakina's body. Ivan grasped her hand,It was cold..but there was a pulse..Ivan tried to lift her off the alter but she was some how bound to it. he tried once more but to no avail she would not move.

Arissa sighted and shot the tentcal behind Ivan. She dashed over, the hight would giver her an advantage. "Wanna try the book agian?"

Ivan didnt respond he was still looking down at what Ivan suuposed would be Drakinas death bed. A large Roar was heard as the Platform that Arissa and Ivan were on making Ivan lose his footing and fall to the ground. Ivan got up as a Large what looked like a tentacle arose...but this one..was diffrent...It seemed to have a large Tear going across its front and skulls seemed to go along that line as well. The Tentacle opened its "Mouth" leeting out a roar,sending skulls flying. The odor that was in the air reeked of decay,and death. Ivan Withdrew his sword as did Arissa withdarw her blade.

Arissa had a crazy "battle smile" plasterd across her face as she looked at the new challange. She had no problem with the noise, but wrinkled her nose at the smell. She roared back at it, calling it names and taunting it. She went to the bottom of the steps, drawing it's attion from Ivan.

Ivan snapped to his senses and started to slash at the beasts open mouth but it drew back and started to speak....

Arissa paused in suprise when it started. Her sword was still in a offencive posistion.

"IVAN...."Spoke the beast it some how spoke with out its mouth being able to move....
"IVAN" it grumbled....
"What are you?! and how do you know my name?!" yelled Ivan

Arissa lowered her sword. They might as well see what it had to say. She was still wary, but creatures had odd ways. She could see it was far enough to be out of striking range

"IVAN...WERE ARE YOU?" it called

"What do you mean? were am I? Im right here!" waved Ivan

"YOU...YOU WHO CALLS TO ME.....YOU...HAVE THE APPEARANCE OF IVAN.....BUT....YOU ARE NOT HIM..."

Arissa turned sideways her eyes still on the creature. “Well, Ta’ did say you smelled funny.”

"I dont think he means what your wyvern smelt...." Ivan glared at the beast it swaed from side to side that a serpent...almost in a trace type state.....
IVAN......YOU HAVE CHANGED.....COME BACK..........COME BACK.....

Ivan put his hands on his head shrill sharp voices stung his ears

“I may be stating the obvious, but don’t listen.” Arissa said. She went back up the steps and started flipping pages. She paused at a section. “hey Ivan, you got a second?” She asked.

"GOT A SECOND?!?" yelled Ivan "My head feels like its splitting in two!!!!" He glared at the beast it looked like it was giving a slight grin..
