if one were to look down from the sky at this moment, he would see a Fairly large baggage trian moving through a mountain pass and around one hundred small dots hidden amonst the mountians. those dots would be the Cease mercnairies, a mercanry company that specialized in (youl never guess) Ceasing baggage trians (told ya). "get ready guys" Kaiser Tornod, the leader of the mercanires, said" were attacking the minute storm shows. we would take this train if it wasn't for the triple security. we'll need to wait for storm for reinforcement" Before Kaiser was finished speaking they could here a flapping noise as torrent landed next to Kaiser with Storm on his back "There you are storm, i was afriad you wouldn't show." "No you wern't" Storm said "come on already torrents hungry for some imperial scum" "fine then......" Kaiser whisled very loud, then all of the sudden several mercanaires from all sides began to rain down on the unsuspecting baggage train. "i'll take one-fifth of the men, your guys get the rest" storm yelled down to kaiser who was already chargin into battle "you know what to do torrent" he told his wyvern who imeaditly [[please excuse the spelling]] leapt into the air and soared towards the baggage train. Storm thorugh down three javilins each one killing an imerail gurad. the Torrent dove down and scooped up three guards. one in his mouth, who he ate, and the other two in his claws who he crushed while storm lowered his lance and impaled two guards on it. [[is that to powerful hudson, if so feel fre to edit it]]
Meanwhile Kaiser had run down into the valley slashing imperial guards as he went. he got to part of the baggage train and cut it loose from the rest. the fighting last like this for awhile (i won't go into more detail, most of it just involved blood and slashing and screaming and goryness) "number of casulties" Kaiser yelled" a voice replied "seven dead sixteen wounded" "dang" Kaiser muttered under his breath "i wasn't expecting them to be that high" Kaiser himself hadn't been hurt to bad but a small gash on his left arm. ((a little redundant i know)) torrent flew down and landed by Kaiser, an arrow in his lift leg and one in his tail. Storm............... was not on top

At the same time, an aged Imperial adventurer happened to see the carnage, perched atop the mountain pass. He swore - the bandits were getting bolder year by year, and then he winced. There was a wyvern. Not that he had anything against wyverns as a whole, but their kind was second only to dragons in majesty, albiet in a reptilian way. He'd seen a few dragons in his adventurers, but always had wisdom enough to stay well away from the beasts. However, this time, his conscience forbid him to run from the band of mercenaries, despite the overwhelming odds.
"Eighty," he muttered to himself, counting the numbers, "Possibly more. D*mnit, I should get paid for this."
Whispering a few short, arcane words to himself, he found his body getting lighter, raising in the air. Levitation. He had always found the spell useful. Sometimes as a shortcut, other times to race in pursuit of airborne victims. He had also noted, with some dryness, that the Telvanni of Morrowind also insisted on making their buildings unaccessable unless you used levitation. This time, since he didn't want to kill himself by jumping off the rise, he eased himself down, the spell making his body bouyant in the air.
He inspected the men closer. None of them looked like amatuers in their trade, and the wyvern in particular looked dangerous - not a beast he wished to cross. Unfortunately, whether he wished it or not, his sense of justice overrode him as he drew his sword, accelerating his speed to the ground, a fire in his eyes. Lance wanted to get this over with quickly.
"Have at ye, bandit scum!"

{{note this is happening in the middle of my second post}} Storm, a little surprised by the sudden bravery of this swordsman he was shaken from his wyvern and fell to the ground. he braced himself, holding his lance in a defensive position, for the swordsmans onslaught

A lance, 'eh? Lance grinned, Hopin' to skewer me with my namesake? I think not.
Since he was still under the effects of the levitation spell, he easily swerved slightly to the right - enough to avoid the menacing tip of steel that threatened to run him through. He grinned - the rider apparently wasn't as skilled as he first gauged him. However, the wyvern would still be a problem, unless it had already fled. On top of that, his intended position in the middle of the band of highwaymen was far off - instead, he was almost a kilometre to the south of the folk. Oh well. One was better than none at all.
He continued to throttle forwards in mid-air, drawing his daedric longsword - slim, black, and shimmering with a magical energy as the wickedly sharpened double-edged blade flashed in the air as he closed in. He had assumed that the shock of the fall would've delayed the mans movement, and so, just as he landed, he gripped the hilt of his sword with both hands, and readied himself to disarm the wyvern rider.
"Here's to Cyrodil," he spoke grimly," Bandit."
And then he brought his shimmering blade down - with a force that the spear shaft alone could not block.

[[ Erm. Powerplaying? ]]
"'Eh?" Lance started, but then knew what was happening.
As he brought his blade down, at the last minute, he felt like he was just kicked in the gut. The man did an almost superhuman feat of acrobatics, bringing one of his legs up, then forcibly slamming it to the right of him, at Lance's position, as he leapt up. Oh, no you don't,. He was kicked, but his suit of ebony armor saved him from any harm. Quite on the contray, Lance guessed that his adversary's foot would be throbbing horribly before anything else. All the same, he didn't hold back as he readied his sword in a defensive position.
"A weapon such as yours," Lance began," Is best used on a mount. It is nothing in close-combat. On top of that, any jabs at my armor will break that stick. Surrender."
He raised his brow as his opponent readied his spear. A fight, 'eh? He hadn't had a good brawl in some time.

{{im not power playing, im just that good, you forget. im a senior role player, *laughs manaicly}} "if you wish me to fight from a mount...." storm whisled loudly and torrent swooped down. storm lept up onto the saddle torrent took off upward "here you go, hope you like rain" storm taunted as he proceded to hurl javlins down at lance

"Oh, I do like rain. Very much, but not when it's made of steel."
He wasted no time in rushing to a cover - a rather large outcropping of rock. He had assumed that Storm would run out of javelins just as quickly as he threw them, and when he did... Lance gripped a throwing knife in his left hand.

storm, seeing the glint of the dagger and fearing for his wyvern, told torrent to go lower he knew this wasn't going to be easy but failure wasn't an option "torrent" storm whispered as he dismounted "go find kaiser" torrent took off storm stood in a defensive position and planned on how to defeat this guard

[[ Adventurer ]]
Lance saw him dismount - it was odd. If he hadn't underestimated Storm, he assumed that the victory would be very easily claimed without the wyvern. The rain of javelins had stopped also, but as the rider dismounted, he threw the throwing knife, lightning fast, and thrown with an eagle's precision.

storm saw the knife coming and twisted his lance to the dagger's blade stuck right int the center of the handle. he then advanced slowly toward the adventuerer and prepared to lunge. {{ you lnow, it's taken us almost twenty minutes to post a battle thats taken 3}}

Unfortunately, Lance didn't do slowly. He leapt out from the outcropping of rock, and with a great force behind his arms, gripped his sword two handed and did a whirling, horizontal slash, that would've decapitated any normal man. He trusted his ebony armor to keep him safe during the attack.

storm was suprised by the sudden attack and didn't have time to do anything but jump back. lance's slash would have cut clean through storms spear, but it hit the dagger imbeded in the lance so it only knocked it out of storm's hands. storm then dug three daggers out of his pocket and threw them at lance.

Lance was masterful at the sword, and in three, quick, succesive strikes, he knocked the daggers out of their flight, then leapt forward after Storm, his sword raised on the left.
