Zodack snapped his fingers and Link was left holding onto his blade.
Zodack's hands were both held together cleanly upon it, yet another sonic boom of air whipping around them through the sheer force of both impacts.
((Grrrrr...If only the sol rapier could be broken this move would literally be killer... I'm savin it for Dameus/Zeth "memories" storyline...snifflez...))
Zodacks eyes, entirely green with the shimmering power of the lightning, stared coldly... as if straight through Link.
((Zodack is extremely fast as well. The lightning givees him that ability. I'm going to let loose how it does so in the "memories" storyline. It has to do with things called 'spirits' sealed within different people from birth. Zodack, as you may guess [and I will only release this one last bit for now] wields the green spirit, of which he shares a piece with Dameus and Link.
If you havent noticed, the green spirit gives lightning. And with the lightning-- speed of lightning. Dameus goes berserkened with it near the end of the "memories" storyline but I'm not sayin how for now >_>))
Zodack entirely fades away just as Link, the lightning shooting straight down from where he last was seen.
Both he and Link at such great speed would find themselves within such a fierce battle, not even the crypts may survive.

Link, panting for breath after his high speed attempt, laid back on the wall, but kept his sword tight in his hand, not yet ready to accept that the battle was over.

Zodack rose to his full height and stepped towards Link, speaking words that he could not hear through the cackling lightning.
Finally sticking out his hand towards Link, a sword formed within his bearing hands.
A pure golden blade, silver handling and pommel. In the other hand formed a dual form of this weapon, only scarlet and black. They were made of pure light and fire, bright and fierce. Their edges were sharpened farther than any could imagine, able to cut a mountain into scrap. Link knew these blades... Abberroc, blade of eaternal light, and Ragnarok, blade of fallen darkness.
Each a blade after realising the full power of Velveshde, the master of the three, they were masterful and powerful.
Brilliantly designed, awe-uprising, and strong. Zodack readied them specifically, a certain form Link remember his father making when he supposedly was still alive... Aye, this would be a reunion of spars. Link when he once practiced against his father to fall each and every time he tried, this would be a moment of supreme testing. Would Link survive?
Or would he, most definately and ultimaely,
Die...

So..it's not over..
Link grimly pulled his hands back and readied his rapiers again. But, everyone has a breaking point, and unbeknowest to Link, he was near his. His life was all fighting..he never got to see Kari at all between the wars or battles or whatever life threw at the two dragoons. He was ready to just let it end, perhaps for the better.
But no, not yet. Now, he will fight for his life in a battle that only he can win...

Zodack brought his hands together, the blades in their grasp meeting end to end, sparks of several colors flying in directions. The lightning around him danced as bright as ever and with a quick burst they shimmered into nothing. Zodack rose the blades above his head.

An air of intensity creeped among the crypt, both of the two able to feel the pure pressure and heat that exploded as a flare of grey flame rose around Zodack, his cape flowing madly. His eyes aglow with the grey flame, their intimidation hissing through his fierce gaze, Zodack moved his hands apart and the blades were pointed on entirely opposite sides. Zodack stared at Link for a moment, and Link at him. Their eyes were locked for mere moments, their memories and their war-tactics buzzing through their minds. Zodack, after staring long enough, tossed his arms out behind him and ran at his fullest speed towards Link, the flames following behind him.
Zodack, nearing his son, leaped within the air and as he descended upon Link alternated his blades to strike. Link should hope he does not falter with this course of action.

Link waits until Zodack is nearly on top of him, then grunts and rolls to the side, bringing the rapier up toward Zodack's hands, hoping to slow his attack somewhat.

The rapier hit's his hands, but Link then realises the gauntlet nearly blending entirely in ((it's gold... his skin is kinda-tanned... gf lol)). Zodack landed on the ground hard and slowly rose to his full height and turning towards Link. Grunting as well he readied both rapiers, holding them on opposite sides curving around their arm's opposing shoulders. His eyes glaring straight forward, Zodack charged towards Link.

Link slammed the ground hard with his gaunleted fist, sending a seismic shockwave of rock and other rubble towards the onrushing foe.

Zodack slashed with the blade held in his left arm, streaking across the ground and flying behind his back, in a rush of air halting the movement of the ground. Still running, he then uncurls his right arm, holding the other blade, and slams it on the ground behind him as he runs. The rocks fly out from their resting places and fly through the air, Zodack leaping off the ground and hopping one by one on the rocks ((Cloud step ftw wewt wewt)) and leading straight towards Link. ((Link, if he released the spirit within him and unleashed the lightning held within him he could do the same, lightning and it's awesomeness... go figure  )) |

Link's form seemed to rapidly fade as he increased his velocity and rocketed under Zodack and the incoming rocks, destroying as many as he could and nearly hitting Zodack's foot in the process.
((You have lightning..I've got Mach 5..lol))

((lol I know, but it doesn't mean it cant be unleashed. Dameus didn't ever think he was some "spirit whatever thing" as he refers it, but in the end he entirely obliterated the Tempest Sanctum out of sheer lightning of DEWM. shabam Lol you got mach five, I have...uhh... a coconut *throws it at u head *)) Zodack whipped around and shot bursts of harsh differentiated lights towards Link, each at a different angle, trying to confuse him. |

Link throws his cape around him, the energy hitting the special metal links and diffusing.
He then points his amber colored gauntlet at Zodack and proceeds to launch solar energy at him in a rapid fire style.

As the fire is shot, Zodack sticks out abberroc and the flames of Sol slam into a barrier of bright warm amber burning light, the centerpoint being the blade tip.
