This is where any newcomers from overseas must come to enter Leyawiin. This is also where you must go to travel overseas, leaving Leyawiin.

Nenuphar got off of the ship and stepped onto the crowded dock. She supposed that with no "ghost" around, there was nothing holding THESE humans back. Human beings are so wierd, she thought, They're actually afraid of the dead.

Nenuphar saw a human female about her age a short distance away from her. She ran a little way into town, ducked behind a building, changed clothing, and re-emerged as a young man with silver hair and eyes. Luckily, when he returned to the dock, the girl was still there.
"Excuse me," he said, making his voice as charming as possible, "I'm new in town and I'm afraid I'm a bit short on cash. Do you have any spare change?"
"Oh....um...no, I..." she backed up and flailed her arms as she tripped over the edge.
Ah ha! thought Nenuphar, Perfect!
He dived in, grabbed ahold of the girl, and swam back out to the cheering and applause of random passerby.
"Are you alright?" he asked, placing his hand gently on her cheek and gazing into her eyes. Her face turned crimson and she struggled out from underneath him.
"I'm....I'm fine...thank you."
"Well, then," he said, smiling a winning smile, "I'm glad. You had me really worried there for a second." Then, turning around, "See ya la-"
"Wait!!"
He smirked to himself before turning around and looking at her, feigning surprise.
"What is it?"
"Erm...that is...I want to thank you! Yes! That's it!" she clapped her hands together and smiled happily, "I'm sure my parents would have no objection to fixing you a thank-you dinner for saving my life."
"Why," he said, bowing and helping her to her feet, "I would be honored."
As the two walked off towards her house, Nenuphar made sure not to move too much, lest the silver coins in his pocket give him away.
Works everytime, he thought.
