Dire grinned, "That's good."
He walked up to the innkeeper,"Two rooms."
The innkeeper smiled, "These are our last two rooms, sir."
"Twenty coins."
Dire reluctantly handed over his last twenty coins.
He went to Kearen. "Lets go to our rooms, we need to work on your look."

Kearen touched her hair self concisly. She went to the mirror and pulled it back various ways. She sighed, ahh well. She wanted to go sailing.

Dire wandered into his room. He had given Kearen the better room of the two, and e wincd as he saw a cockroack scuttle across the wall. Oh well, it was only for a night.

Kearen pulled out a dagger that she had gotten. then she set it down, she couldnt do it. Dire could. She sat on the bed and blew the candle out

Dire woke up stiff from the sleep. He pulled the dagger out from under his hard pillow.He always slept with a dagger close at hand.

"hurry up please."

He laughed, "It doesn't hurt, Kearen."
He gather her hair in her left hand and swiftly cut through the hair.
The locks drifted to the floor. Kearen still had her eyes closed. "It's done, Kearen."
He had cut her hair about shoulder length.
