"Before sunrise, most likely. As I said before, it will take a few weeks to get there, and it's best to have a fresh start."
Running his fingers through his hair, he stifled a yawn.
"But first, we need to get some rest. I trust you either already have rooms or can obtain them?"

ooc- MY MUSE LIVES. *hallulejah chorus plays*
bic- Earrrrlllly. Nephir seemed to never sleep anyway, so he wouldn't really mind, but Aliaria had been looking into sleeping late....Dang him, she thought, a smile twitching at the corner of her lips. She hated it when Nephir made plans without her. Then again, he must trust the man....
"We're staying downstairs," she said in a small voice, brushing her dark bangs out of her face as if they hindered her sight. Haha. What a laugh. Aliara's memories of color were fading. People, who's voices she knew well, were merely blurs of color in her minds eye, but she tried often to remember them, how they walked and what color their eyes were.

"Good. I'll keep watch while you two..." Faust cast a glance at the mental one, "or, ah, you sleep. If he doesn't, that is. People in this town can sometimes get ideas when pretty women are left unguarded and asleep. Especially in a tavern like this one."
Faust stopped for a moment to ponder why he had taking a liking to the girl. He wasn't friendly by nature and avoided people whenever he could. Then again, her disturbing aquaintance was always with her. NOW he remembered why he stayed away from people...

ooc- Oh noes. Muse death...I feel it returning. D:
bic- "I'm not sure what he does," Aliara replied, half-grinning with her head turn in the direction her companion had disappeared to. Pretty? Her? Ha. Then Aliara blinked, taken aback. She couldn't even see herself. Maybe she was pretty....Aliara blinked again, looking as thoughtful as a blind person could, and looked back at Faust.
"It's not that bad," she said honestly. "Just a lot of travelers. We've been here a few days, Nephir usually keeps track of things. He's pretty good at hiding."
At that moment, her companion returned, but this time he took the shape of the silky black raven. He skidded along the countertop, earning a sharp looked from the bartender, then fluttered to Aliara's shoulder, his head tilted to one side. Nephir let out a loud, racaous caw, startling everyone. The sound was like a gunshot to Aliara, who winced, and the raven pulled at her bangs apologetically.
"Silly bird," she murmured, tapping his with the side of her hand. With a low hissing sound, Nephir fluttered down to the table top and pulled at a spoon, appearing quite convincing as just a bird. Aliara didn't remember if Faust had seen him as a bird or not.

Obsevant as always, Faust had made the connection.
"I see your friend is a Druidok."
He didn't say it too loudly because most people discriminated against Druidoks. He didn't mind them, but something about them just seemed unnatural to him. Especially the fact that they didn't have a Spark.
"Well, I suppose we should rest up for tomorrow. You two go ahead and set up whatever you're sleeping on. I'll keep watch."
Faust put his hand to a comapct longsword that was in a sheath, buckled to his belt.

Nephir glared at Faust, a strange expression coming from a raven, then cawed in a deafing way. Several tavern patrons glared back at him, then at Aliara.
"Somebody shut that bird up," someone muttered, swaying slightly with drink. Aliara would have rolled her eyes, but instead she tapped Nephir on the head with one hand and turned from Faust.
"Goodnight then."
Such a pest, she thought, her blank eyes flicking sideways to the bird. Nephir pulled at her bangs again and fluttered down to the basement.

Faust nodded in agreement, to no one in particular, and walked over to the door Aliara had just entered. Crossing his arms, he leaned back against the wall and closed his eyes.
It was going to be a long night...
