Spirits aroused by the fact that he had lived through the ordeal, and came through it unscathed, he continued down the road, looking back to see if the ghost was following. He wondered how it would look, though, when he went into the city with a ghost in tow.

Danny smiled at the worried look on Eric's face. "dont worry when we get there, i'll go invisable. no problems there." he said going invisable to show Eric what he ment then coming back into sight beside him "right?"

"Woaah, you can do that?" Eric was stunned. Now he had to worry about being ambushed by invisible ghosts along the road too," Well, as long as you protect me, um, I mean, I protect you. I mean, me prot-... Nevermind."
With an added bounce in his step, he continued onwards to the imperial city, his spear lying forgotten along the dusty road.
