"thanks." Xi said and took the contanior. she took the lid off and ran her fingers through the paste inside. Wincing she rubbed it on her wound, she had forgotton how much it stung, but it would work untill they bandaged it.

Xi made a face at Kane. "Fine, get all the peices of Nic's amulet and some thin wire." She said grumply. She wished she had that plant that grew on the island that would numb the wound.

Crow entered the inn and adjusted his cavalier. He walked up to the bar and slapped a few gold pieces on the counter that he had stolen from a man outside. "Some wine, if you please." he said to the the innkeeper. He accepted the bottle and polished it on his shoulder cape. Surreal brothers. Nice. He pulled out the cork and drank a fourth of the bottle. He withdrew a set of knucklebone die, supposedly from a dragon, but he doubted it. He started up a noisy game with a few men. After winning double what he bet, he bought a room and set up the stairs, redjusting his cavalier on the way.
