Dire woke once and saw that they were out of the canoe and onto another island. He was about to try to struggle, but he was hit over the head and blacked out.

The trip to the main plaza was short but slow because of the men's burden. A girl of about 12 with a haughty attitude directed them where to go. Untyieng Dire they threw him in a stout wooden cage in the back of a cave that was underneath the main 'cortyard'. Some of the crew where in a bigger cage beside him

Dire woke up to find himself in darkness. After feeling around a bit, he discovered he was in a sturdy cage. He of course had no idea that this was Kearen's island, so he started trying to find a way to escape.

One of the woman gards heard the noise and tossed a rock in the genaral direction
"Get quite back there!" She shouted annoyed at them "Bad enoughf i have to stand down here" She mutterd to herself

Dire stepped back in his cage as a rock hit the stone a foot away from the cage, followed by the language he had heard the guards using. He sat down, muttering about people taking his sword.

Dire was surprised to hear his own language. It wsounded like one of the pirates.
"Hey!" Dire called out. "Where are we?"

Dire called out to the guard, "Where is Kearen? What did you do to her?"
He didn't know if she understood him or not, but it was worth a try.

The gaurd looked in the dark annoyed. She sighed and walked over to one side where a jaguar was sleeping. She stroked its head to wake it up, then tuned it so it faced the cave. "Speek!" She said. a short loud scream, like a mountain lions followed ecoing off the walls.
"There, that should shut them up."
