ooc- Okay, I want to do a one on one. One person. There might be more than one character each, but I'd really like to keep it to a one on one person roleplay. So, first come first serve. This is just a thread for me to get some medieval/fantasy roleplay out of my system, so excuse my ridiculously long or short posts.
Setting ---An ancient graveyard back in the Black Wood, full of headstones without names and graves without headstones. There is a rundown church nearby, mostly gone with just the foundation, a few rotting wood pews overgrown with vines and weeds, and an oak tree growing up where the alter used to be. The metal cross the hung on the back wall it buried in the ground. The whole graveyard is surrounded by a black iron fence, which is rusted and vine coated, and one of the gate hinges is broken, making the gate hang sideways. The trees hear are sparser than in the rest of the woods, but the oak tree in the center has shaded a good chunk of the graves. It is late evening.
--- I'll probably use Kirian, my vampire. Feel free to use your weird creatures of the night, whoever joins.

Kirian was crouched infront of a gravestone, his dark hair hanging in his silver eyes. He heard the slight rustle of long-dead leaves as Ard approached the cemetary, and felt a pang of irritation. This was his place to go, to hide, and now he'd have to keep a reputation. Then, he recognized the scent. It was the blind man, whom Kirian had hunted for a short time.
But today, Kirian wasn't hungry. Standing, he moved fluidly towards the man, making no sounds, the shape no more than a ghost. He came to a stop just a few feet behind Ard, out of reach of the man's staff in case he took to swinging it out.
A mortal, Kirian thought, wouldn't have anyone close enough to be worth visiting here. In fact, the newest grave, it's inhabitant had been dead for over a hundred years, and was one of the few with a name still on it's granite surface. Kirian watched him curiously, eyes narrowed, the iris's now glowing red. The man wouldn't know Kirian for what he was, and the vampire planned to keep it that way.

Kirian followed him, keeping his distance, a puzzled expression on his deathly pale face. He didn't feel the wind that blew, for he had left humanity behind a long time ago. The vampire no longer knew the difference between cold and hot, so he had always taken care to watch his companions when traveling, so not to give away his identity.
A sudden wave of bloodthirst came over him, and his eyes burned crimson, but then it faded with the wind. "What are you doing?" Kirian asked finally, crossing his arms over his chest.

Kirian caught his scent on the wind, and his eyes gleamed red for a beat. "You know, it's dangerous back here. I'm sure you can handle yourself, but you never know." What did Kirian care for this man? He could kill him, for invading this place, the sacred place he guarded for his sister's soul. It was their place, and no one elses.

A wind elemental, Kirian thought. So he probably already knows. He watched him survey with blind eyes, taking in the death of it all. He drew dangerously near her grave, and Kirian growled, his fangs extending to their full length. "Watch your step, or you might find a an empty grave for you," Kirian threatened, moving with the speed of his race and standing protectively next to his sister's resting place.
Kirian remembered thinking he should have made her a ghoul, then she would still be with him, and she wouldn't have to feed from the blood of others, like he did, like he would soon if the man continued in his way. Kirian's hands were claws, his muscles tense. It would take less than a second for him to strike down the man, to give the vines blood to drink for the first time in a century. Then the clearing would flourish....Do it.

ooc- 'cept me thinks she gone again. *shrug*
Oh, and just to be clear, whatever happens in this thread, stays in this thread. someone dies, no biggy. Not really a death. Again, this is just a thread for me to get this out of my system.

"In fact, yes I do. The art of drawing a sword from a sheath, cutting the opponent, and putting said weapon away. But you'll find I'm awfully hard to hit," Kirian murmured. He dropped down and kicked out at the man's legs, which would knock him to the ground, and drew back. Iaido, a blind man who knew it. This would be an interesting fight.

Kirian felt the first rushes of air and barely got out of the way. The blade of air made him unsteady for a moment, and Kirian gritted his teeth. So, this is how it would work.
"Flames of eternal hell, hear my call," he bellowed, pulling his hands back. The two torches set at where the church entrance should be blazed, and shot up the wind pipe Ard had made when firing the first wave. The idiot, Kirian scolded slightly, catching himself as the remains of the airblade nearly knocked him off his feet. If it worked, the empty space would act as a shoot, and Ard would become a charred body.
