"You can see it outside that window," Kakrikya said, pointing to said window.

"Hmmm, well, we could sleep on the floor in the shop and in your house if you don't mind. Either Zeren, me, or both of us could stand guard outside during the night. We could sleep in the day. It might be a better idea for Zeren and me to guard in shifts, but if the one on guard shift got jumped, the rest would have no way of knowing. What do you think?" she asked Zeren and Kakrikya.

"Gaurds??" Kakrikya threw her head back and laughed loudly, "Do you honestly think MY shop needs protection? Neither of you will be necessary for THAT!"

Zeren shrugged "it is fine with me. my back hurts to much to do much of anything though."

"Well, if you think we'll be safe without someone guarding us, I guess we'll be okay. Is there enough space on the floor at your house for us to sleep, Kakrikya?" Tifa said.

"It's better if we all stay in here," Kakrikya replied, "My shop is far more protected then my home. Though, of course, I severely doubt that there was any truth behind that thief's threat."

Tifa stifled a yawn. "Well, now that we have all that worked out, I think my parents, Zeren, and I need some sleep. We've been traveling all night. Is there a place where we could take a small nap and not interfere with your business?"

"Daughter," Kakrikya said, "This is the best business I've had for decades. You won't be interfering ANYTHING."

Tifa looked at Zeren curiously. "What Zeren?" Tifa's parents were sitting in two chairs by the counter, already asleep.
