Geal sighed as she sat down on a nearby rock, slumping and resting her hand on her chin. And now we wait for her to move into the next stage, she thought, unless one of the people here share a strong enough bond with her to get through to her.

Cebruse shhok his head at Geal and then walked over to Anasa. He rested his head on one of her shoulder and curved one wing around her other. He closed his golden eyes and gave out a deep noise, that was soft almost like a purr.

Anasa did not seem to show any reaction, but a sheet of ice began to cover Cebruse.
"No!!!!" Geal said, "Get off of her right now!"
