Kari dodged and hurled the boulder ast him and changed into her elven form and charged into him unexpectidly.

Link bunted the boulder with the tip of his staff, knocking it out of the way, then flipped his staff bottom up, as it morphed into a sword to meet the oncoming charge.
He flipped over the top of Kari and bopped her in the back with his staff-sword, giving her a couple of volts of electricity.
