After the war

Kari jumps up and tries to land a hard left hook to Dusk.

Dusk gets knocked sideways by Kari ((It's not like I'll let you beat him, but have fun giving him some punishment)), then gets back up and swings his scythe, releasing a huge wave of energy.

*Zeth gets infront of Kari and rips the energy wave apart*
Hmph....
*Zeth shoots earth spires at Dusk*

((i know i just wanted the hapiness of landing at least one hit lol))Kari uses her magyk to encase the spike in silver dragon fire.

Dusk raises his hand and the spire shatters, the rock spliters flying toward Zeth and Kari.

"Kazune." The splinters stop in midair and fall to the ground."Who are you?"she asked again growing impatient."Why are you here in these mountains?"

[Aeric Ecrai]

"Why, that's none of your business, is it?" Dusk raises a palm again and a huge crystal spike shoots out of the ground, but inentionally hits no one. Then it shatters into lots of splinters and they start whirling around Dusk like a whirlwind ((it would have been easier if you just pushed Zeth's inactive body toward the spikes and let him die rofl))

Oh great.....
*Zeth starts spinning his scythe over his head*
I'll give you one last chance, surrender and give us information, or die and we'll take those chil....
*Zeth looks around*
Where are those children?
*Zeth focuses on Dusk again and waits for his answer*

"You're too late. This whole battle has been moving down the mountain, away from the ward. Now, I shall take my leave." The whirlwind of shards flies toward the two, and Dusk is about to kill the children when another scythe meets his.
"What?!"
"Hmph. Always thinking you're so high and mighty, aren't you?" A golden-haired man says, smirking.
"LOCKE?!"
"That's right, scumbag, I've been tracking you. Now, hand over the children and leave these two alone before I kill you."
"I don't think so.."
Dusk raises his hand to shoot a spell, but Locke (the gold-haired guy) grabs his wrist and turns it at the ground, and slices Dusk's chest with his scythe.
"Agh!" Dusk grunts, pain comig from the wound. "It'll take more than that to kill me..but...." Dusk raises his hand again and him and the two children disappear into a black void.

"Fierfek! He got away..again. Ah, you must be Kari and Zeth. Pleased to meet such legends. I'm Locke."

Locke twirls his scythe and puts in on his back.

"Well, we should go into your library to discuss what is happeneing, shouldn't we? Or are you just going to stand there?" Locke starts to walk toward the library.
"Coming?"

*Zeth follows Locke*
Come on Kari, we don't have all day.

she nods and turns into her dragoonian form and flies to the library.

Locke sits down with Zeth and Kari at a large round table in the library.
"I've known of Umbra for many years, so I know my stuff. He's a harsh ruler, and has been plotting aganst Tamriel for as long as I know. I've had some run-ins with Dusk before, but now that he stole the children..we were hoping it wouldn't come to this. You see, by we, I mean myself and the rest of the Dragoon militia that served under your..accaintance, Link. now that he's gone, I'm their leader. None of the full dragoon members remain, but we are all mostly half, some less. We are equipped with a full battalion of ships as well as weaponry. There are around two to one-thousand of us..at your service, Kari. You are the last dragoon, after all. I suggest and immediate naval assault on Isle Nex, with your approval. We cannot allow him to harness the power of those two. He'll kill them to gain it, then perhaps kill you to grow even stronger. It will take a long time to repair ships and muster my wide-spread troops, but we might just have a chance. All we need now is Leroy and his sword, for it can combat Umbra's power. We'll have to deal with Dusk first, and perhaps some members or Incendo's army, maybe even General Flint, but I think we can manage. We need to cripple the Islands, then you three can go in and deal with Umbra. I can handle Dusk, and I think Damues can finish Flint. So...any questions? Orders? Improvements?"
Locke looks at the other two, waiting.

*Zeth looks at Kari and then back at Locke*
There is much needed to actually complete this mission. First off, with Link gone, I suspect Kari will be in a......
*Zeth looks at Kari*
....depression.....
*Zeth looks back at Locke*
.....Secondly, we've only seen an spirit image of Dameus, so I think he's imprisoned somewhere, though where, I do not know.......The whole point of this is that we are in a desprite time right now, and about half of your plan won't work......
*Zeth pulls out the tome about the Spectral Isles*
.....without Dameus or Kari, and you said you knew of Umbra, but what of the Incendos? How much do you know of them?
*Zeth waits for an answer*

"Monarch Incendos is much more..violent..than Umbra, but less cunning, he lets his power do the talking instead of his traps and plans. I had no idea Dameus was gone, just rumors..we'll need more time required for this then. I'll send some agents to Incendo's island, to see what he's up to, maybe some of the other monarchs could have come back to aid, but I doubt it. We'll need new weapons, of course, some new ship materials, and armor."
*Locke looks at Kari, who hasn't said anything yet*
"I know what it feels like. Don't you think Dusk has hunted me for a long time? That's why I knew what he was going to do."
*Locke looks back at Dameus*
"Let's hope the Monarchs do not move against us, for you are right. Dameus is missing, Link is gone, no one has even seen Feric, for that matter, he would help some. Leroy is off somewhere training.."
*Locke sighs*
"This could take years.."
