*Zeth appears right infront of Umbra but vanishes before he could strike and appears behind him*

Umbra blocks with his sword, moves his sword around and begins parrying Link
(Vaapad is the fastest style of swordman ship..so if he had focused on someone besides Link he would have been cut up..lol)

He's fast......well that's Vaapad for you.....
*Zeth keeps vanishing and reappearing at random moments and keeps slashing at Umbra but making sure the scythe doesn't hit Link*

Umbra is getting pretty annoyed at Zeth.
"Get away, mainlander, this is my battle and Link's!"
Umbra shoots a huge twilight blast at Zeth.
The shadows around Zeth wrap themselves around his arms and pin him down.

....from that blast he must be shadow.......but.......
*Zeth chants an astra element spell and removes the bonds*
Link, I think you should use that sword's powers now......if it has any......
*Zeth starts chanting again but the incatation is more complex and water starts to appear from the air*

Link barely gets this out and has to reel backwards to aviod a wide swing from Umbra.

If that's all the power that sword has I'm disappointed.....
*Zeth incases Umbras sword arm in water and freezes it and infuses it with his mana so that it wont' break as easily*

(It's not that the sword is weak, it's just that they are both of equal power..)
Umbra's entire body dissolves into a shadow, and Link barely amnages to turn around in time to parry a swipe coming from behind him
Great..this guy can control shadow..

((Well, the blades sort of cancel each other out. And Umbra rivals Link in power..so..))
"You don't seem to be shadow..but you control it. What are you?!" Link manages to get out between blows.
Umbra brings together the shadows in the room, then creates five clones of himself.
Oh, snap.. Link thinks to himself
"Um..Zeth? A little physical help here?"
Link is desperately blocking, now on the complete defensive.

"I grow tired of this. Now, leave me!" As Umbra says this, he shoots a spell that hits Link in the neck. Link falls over and notices a black spell sign on his skin.
"There. Now see who can defeat me!"
But the vioce didn't come from the battle. Umbra was near one of the bookshleves holding a few tomes.
"Hmph. Away with you then."
Umbra disappears into the shadows, and his clones dissapate.
"Ow...this thing is starting to burn.." Link fingers the mark on his neck.
"I've tried every spell I can think of and it won't go away." (no, it won't. Ever. Well, maybe later..)
