Dameus walked around the mountain. He knew somewhere there had to be a sort of chamber that the dragoons would keep a dragon. Somewhere...Somewhere...
Dameus walked up towards the seal and broke it open, watching the dragonfire door that would keep him from entering. Dameus scowled and slashed at it with ragnarok and it's flames grew brighter. Dameus then began kicking through tables elsewhere, destroying anything he could find and searhing for a sort of clue. Finally, after searching through a stack of papers, he saw a piece of parchment that had a few drawings on it. It looked like a map...probably of the mountain. there was an X on a small line that curved and curled around and around. Dameus thought it was the library, but then decided to change thought. There was a dot on the line as well. Usually X's marked the spot, but that might have been made to confuse him. He decided to try it out and so he pulled out a match, lit it and threw it on the ground. Snapping his fingers, all of the house suddenly burst into flames as well as a few trees outside. Dameus thought that it was quite interesting, actually, the thought that now he was burning everything. He...liked it. Dameus snapped his fingers again and explosions boomed around the mountains. The entire mountain was now covered in a raging inferno of flame. Dameus laughed and lit his gauntlet like a torch, ballancing a ball of fire above his fingertips. Dameus examined it carefully and released the ball of flame towards a char black blazing bookcase full of parchments and trinkets. Dameus smiled and walked towards the door, now a black rectangle alight with dancing flames, and slashed it clean in two, the door still on it's hinges. Pyrox... the house's interior burst in an explosion of blaring white flames. Dameus, now laughing maniacally, walked out into a red, orange, yellow and white terrain that burned like the sun was miles closer. Dameus then held the map in front of him, it was beginning to curl from the heat. He memorized the drawings and then let it hover above his hand, with the curl of his fingers crumpling it until it was a black dot alight and dropping it onto the ground. Dameus walked around towards the location he suspected it to show and after searching for minutes saw a strange tree that didn't burn. He walked towards it and slashed at it with ragnarok, but it did not snap. He scowled and kicked the-...His foot went through it. Dameus, puzzled, kneeled down and stared at the base of the tree with hard eyes. He saw a few runes that the eye would hardly be able to see. They spelled out--"Let the dragon's flame reveal the truth". Dameus roared with rage and with inhuman speed slashed a tree in half, crumbling easily from the reaping flames. Dameus thought quickly and remembered the wyrm kari had. Possibly, it would work if...wyrms didn't breathe fire...
...
Dameus then thought of the dragonflame barrier keeping him from entering the library. With a snap of lightning, he appeared in the still blazing house and walked towards the barrier. he stuck his hand into the flames and yelled as the flames seemed to burn more than just his skin. He pulled his hand out and examined his hand. The dragonflames were engulfing his hand. The only thing protecting his hand from disintegrating was his armor, which was blessed by vexxus. Furiously, he teleported back towards the unscathed tree and kneeled towards the base of its roots. He took his burning hand and brushed the runes with the licking flames. For a moment nothing happened until the runes began to shimmer like a new spark of fire and the tree disappeared. A burning hole suddenly opened and the runes moved around the edges, the hole widening. Dameus laughed and leapt through the hole, falling into a dark void with a small flame in the middle. It was so far down, though, that the light from the outside was a mere speck from the base of wherever he was. Probably a cave. Dameus tried putting out the dragonfire flames that were on his hnd, but to no avail. They were beginning to move up along his arm, searing his skin under the armor. Dameus with a tight face behind his full helmet peered through the darkness and lifted his arm, opening his hand and in a burst of light enlighting his surroundings. When the room was lit up, it burst into flames. Dameus roared as dragonflame blew around him and seared him uncontrollably. Dameus collapsed onto his knees and bellowed, his sword pointed towards the ground. Dragonflames then lit up around the room, dameus lifting his head up...to stare at an enormous cave full of eggs. Eggs of any color one could imagine. Each egg had what looked like veins of lava curling around them in crevices, pulsing with warm light. Dameus gasped and winced from the pain of the dragonfire and stepped up to his feet, limping towards the eggs. He heard peeps and squeaks around the room and stared at egg after egg. Dameus finally grinned coldly from under his helmet when he spotted a lone egg that was char black. It was roughly the size of a large rock. He picked it up and felt another searing pulse run through him. Growling, he gripped the egg in his arm and drew ragnarok. None...None will oppose me...And so, I must... Dameus took his blade and began slashing egg after egg, leaving piles of eggs chopped in half, lava-like membrane and yolk seeping out of them. Hegrumbled and began walking towards the exit and finally realizing that reaching the top would be impossible, teleported to kari's house. As soon as he reached it, thought he would raid it for books and scrolls that would be useful. Dameus walked towards the dragonfire barrier and scowled as he realized he would have to run through it. Dameus then had an idea and took the black dragon egg, sticking it in front of him. He then slowly walked through, letting the egg touch the dragonfire first. The egg glowed brightly as the dragonfire suddenly seemed to crawl towards it, leaving a small gap at the bottom and Dameus let it drop to the floor. A gap formed above with the absence of the egg and dameus lifted the egg around the barrier, letting the flames seep in. Finally when he thought it was a big enough gap, he leapt through and the egg fell on the ground beside him as he fell face first into the stone floor. Dameus grinned but then felt the pain of dragonfire suddenly crawl up his legs and along his body. He yelped as it now engulfed him, searing him and scarring him under his armor. He bellowed furiously and dashed down a staircase towards the library below.
Dameus, alight with dragonflame, ran into the library. He scowled and began searching through each bookcase, breezing through the books and small trinkets that lined it. Whenever there was nothing of use, he toppled the bookcase over and set it on fire. One after one, he went through the bookcases. He found a scroll that would be useful entitled-- Dragonspeech. He could use it to give commands to his dragon. After burning nearly half of the library, he now found more and more documents of use. Only about five, though. Finally he cleared through nearly the entire library, finally reaching the last bookcase. And as he breezed from book after book, he finally found the one he had been hoping the most to find.
Quintessences.
He sneered and in a burst of light stored the documents within his amulet. He walked across the library and began skimming through trinkets here and there.
((He's gonna be doin this until I decide to stop him lol...
I have a bad feeling Kari is going to kill me...hm...))
