as it turns out, this entire time Dameus was awake...eavesdropping hoping to get a slice of information about these curious people who he hoped wouldnt notice he was awake

"yeaaaaah!!!" he leaped up from the tree onto his feet as they were scorched from the flames.
"peace thou wants, have it he shall. hmph."
he mumbles under his breath, picks up another apple, and begins walking down the mountains. not leaving it totally because he was still hiding from the imperial guards, but he was far enough out of ear shot from link and kari.
he laid back down, his head in a bush, his cloak over himself. and truly fell asleep with an apple in his hand.

Link did the same, but he hadn't called Aurum for ages, so Aurum stayed hidden..
He mounted Chalybs and went over to Kari
