Do you mean "shojos"? I don't know. I've seen Azumanga Daioh and Lucky Star, but not Excel Saga. Azumanga Daioh was a manga that ran in newspapers kinda like Garfield in the US, so it's a bunch of random funny stuff, and Lucky Star is just a bunch of random cute moments with adorable girls with funky-colored hair.
